4 4 Silver Economie l autonomie, nouvel espace d innovation En 2035, près d un français sur trois aura plus de 60 ans. Ce vieillissement de la population est à l origine de l émergence d un secteur d activité extrêmement dynamique autour de la génération senior : création de services personnalisés, développement de technologies pour l autonomie, offre touristique adaptée, etc. Autant de métiers et d activités appelés à se développer fortement dans les années à venir, pour inventer une économie au service du bien-être et de l autonomie pour toutes les générations. Un secteur complexe qui implique de nouveaux défis auxquels nos sociétés doivent répondre : professionnaliser, structurer le marché, mettre en adéquation l offre et la demande, favoriser une offre compétitive et bien sûr, faciliter l innovation dans ces domaines. L état et les collectivités ne s y trompent pas, ces nombreuses opportunités multidisciplinaires sont aujourd hui intégrées dans une véritable filière soutenue par un comité installé par le gouvernement : la Silver Economie. À Grenoble, le Forum 4i et d autres initiatives, dispositifs et projets phares comme TASDA (Technopôle Alpes, Santé à Domicile & Autonomie) ou le bouquet de services Autonom@Dom ont anticipé cette évolution et participent aujourd hui au développement de cette filière très propice à l innovation. En 2014, le Forum 4i fait de l innovation un vecteur de la Silver Economie L objectif de cette année est de montrer que l innovation, les nouvelles technologies, l expérimentation et la production de nouveaux outils seront un véritable moteur pour le développement de la Silver Economie. Le Forum 4i fédère ainsi les énergies et les compétences pour tirer la recherche et l industrie vers la compétitivité et la création d emplois à forte valeur dans une filière désormais incontournable.

5 Silver economy Autonomy, a new field for innovation In 2035, almost one in three French people will be over 60. This ageing population has led to a number of new, dynamic products and services being developed geared towards senior citizens, for example, the creation of customised services, the development of technology to permit people to remain independent, tourism opportunities adapted to the needs of elderly people etc. As these activities continue to develop over the coming years, many jobs and activities will be created in the years to come, this will lead to an economy devoted to well-being and independence, of benefit to all age-groups. The Silver Economy is a complex industry. It responds to the challenges that our societies are currently facing through encouraging a restructuring of the market, a balancing of supply and demand, competitiveness and, notably, through the fostering of innovation in these areas. The French national government and local authorities are well aware of the stakes. These numerous multidisciplinary opportunities have been integrated into a new economic sector, supported by a government-backed committee: The Silver Economy. In Grenoble, the Forum4i and other stand-out projects, such as the TASDA association or the services offered by Autonom@Dom are well ahead of the game. Having anticipated this evolution, these structures are now participating in developing this field of innovative activities. 5 In 2014, the Forum4i is developing the Silver Economy through innovation This year s objective is to show that innovation, new technology, experiments and the production of new tools will be a real motor for the development of the Silver Economy sector. The Forum4i is therefore bringing together the incentive and the know-how to pull research and industry towards this new competitive, job-creating, industry that will inevitably continue to grow: the Silver Economy.

10 Vitrine technologique UN OUTIL DE VALORISATION DU POTENTIEL TECHNOLOGIQUE des acteurs de la recherche rhônalpine 10 La vitrine technologique 2014 a pour thème la Silver Economie et sera l occasion de découvrir les technologies développées dans ce domaine par les acteurs de la recherche. Elle permettra de révéler des innovations sur plusieurs thématiques de la Silver Economie : santé, habitat, mobilité, loisirs Les applications issues de ces divers domaines technologiques seront présentées par les chercheurs et leurs partenaires industriels. Réalisée grâce au concours actif du CCSTI de Grenoble et des acteurs de la recherche en Rhône-Alpes, la vitrine technologique confirme, avec cette nouvelle édition, toute son attractivité de la région. 16 16 Le Forum en chiffres Depuis la création du Forum 4i en 1998, 240 projets ont été présentés à des investisseurs en vue d une levée de fonds. À ce jour, 188 entreprises issues de ces projets sont toujours en activité et se sont développées, générant plus de 2100 emplois sur le bassin grenoblois et plus de emplois au total. Au moins 90 start-ups ont levé des fonds pour un montant de plus de 580 millions d euros. * Ouvert à tous / Sous réserve de changement Favoriser la rencontre entre entreprises innovantes et investisseurs Venture4i permet la rencontre entre une trentaine d entreprises innovantes en recherche de financement et des investisseurs nationaux et internationaux. Ces entreprises innovantes, en amorçage ou en développement et issues de tous les secteurs de l innovation (TIC, cleantech, biotechnologies ), ont été pré-sélectionnées par un comité de sélection constitué d une vingtaine d investisseurs de renommée nationale et internationale. Présentations à huis clos aux investisseurs Les entreprises innovantes sélectionnées se présentent pendant 7 minutes devant les investisseurs, réunis à huis clos. Le trophée «4i-Jean-Michel Lamure» sera décerné par les investisseurs à l entreprise jugée la plus innovante. Rendez-vous individuels Les investisseurs peuvent, s ils le souhaitent, rencontrer de manière individuelle les entreprises innovantes au cours de rendez-vous en tête-à-tête de 20 minutes. 17 Encourage meetings between innovative companies and investors Venture4i enables meetings between thirty innovative companies seeking funding and national and interna tional investors.these innovative companies, in early stage or searching for growth capital and from all innovative technology fields (ICT, cleantech, biotechnology...), have been pre-selected by a selection committee consisting of twenty nationally and internationally recognized investors. THE Forum in figures Since the creation of the Forum 4i in 1998, 240 projects were presented to investors. Today, 188 companies are still in activity, generating about jobs in Grenoble and more than jobs in total. At least 90 start-ups have raised funds for an amount of more than 580 million euros. 17 Presentations behind closed doors to investors Pre-selected innovative companies have 7 minutes to present themselves behind closed doors to investors. The trophy «4i-Jean-Michel Lamure» will be awarded by investors to the most innovative company. Individual meetings Investors have the opportunity to meet individually with the innovative company.
