2 L ISLI, programme spécialisé en Global Supply Chain de BEM-KEDGE Business School accueille, pour sa 24 ème année, les directeurs Supply Chain du monde entier pour débattre et échanger lors du Forum Supply Chain ISLI. Ces retours d expériences mettent en exergue les tendances du Supply Chain management et comment y faire face afi n d être mieux préparé pour le futur. Cette rencontre abordera les «Nouveaux horizons du Supply Chain management». New Supply Chain Horizon The BEM-KEDGE Business School ISLI programme specialized in Global Supply Chain Management hosts for 24 th year in sequence Supply Chain leaders from all around the world at a one day forum in order to discuss and exchange ideas about hot topics in this fi eld. This event New Supply Chain Horizon highlights the best practices from leading companies in order to raise awareness of the latest Supply Chain Management trends and to show ways how to tackle them. The concept of Supply Chain Management was initiated 25 years ago and its fi ndings have become highly important for every successful enterprise. I call my garage shop, Sunset Lube on 19 th Avenue in San Francisco, to see if they can replace the pump. They call me back to update me that it may take a few weeks to locate a spare parts dealer with an inventory of the specifi c water pump for my saloon model 1.4 which is almost 40 years old. They add that they are looking for the spare part in Vietnam after receiving a tip from Brienne-Auto at 23 Quai de Brienne, Bordeaux. I mention my frustrating wait for the spare parts during coffee with my friend Marissa Mayer at her offi ce at 3475 Deer Creek Road in Palo Alto. Marissa s 10 year old daughter, Emma, walks in her offi ce and sits with us. Emma listens to my whining about my car. I urge the driver to take me to Tachyon, at warp speed. Two hours later, driving my Peugeot 204, on Route 280, I wonder what an ancient concept it must be to think about inventory of spare parts. Who needs inventory? Quelles ont été les grandes tendances et les priorités? Quelles sont les orientations qui se pérennisent, et celles qui n ont pas abouti? Dans un monde avec toujours plus de complexité, évoluant dans un contexte de crise récurrent, certaines tendances se sont affi rmées : une globalisation encore plus présente, une nécessaire simplifi cation des processus, une réactivité (au jour voire à l heure), des systèmes d information encore plus proches de la réalité, des ambitions environnementales fortes, une meilleure maîtrise des risques, un contrôle des coûts. Ces tendances vont-elles perdurer? Existe-t-il de nouvelles orientations? How has Supply Chain evolved in the past 10 years? What were the main trends and priorities? What are the sustainable orientations, and what are those that did not last? In a world with increased complexity and a recurrent crisis situation some trends stand out: intense globalization, process simplifi cation needed, responsiveness (day-to-day and sometimes hour-by-hour), information systems close to reality, environmental-friendly initiatives, better understanding of risks, and constant control of costs. 4 Thème 1 Comment réduire les stocks par la segmentation? Topic 1 How to reduce inventory trough segmentation? La segmentation permet de créer des Supply Chain mieux adaptées et plus effi caces correspondant à des attentes de marchés différenciées. Pour que la segmentation soit viable, il est nécessaire de connaître son entreprise, son marché, ses clients et ses fournisseurs. La segmentation permet d adapter les stocks à chaque marché et ainsi les réduire. Cette diminution passera par une collaboration plus effi cace avec les fournisseurs en amont et les clients en aval. Segmentation describes the process of classifying a broad heterogeneous group into smaller homogenous subgroups. Segmentation allows companies to create more effi cient and complementary Supply Chains that lead to various positive outcomes, such as drastic inventory reductions. The forecasting accuracy is a key success factor to reach the results, turnover and inventory level goals. DELONGHI France has integrated information sharing between trade partners, clients and the Supply Chain in the S&OP process. Il y a un lien fort entre la création d une approche plus durable et la manière dont on conduit la politique de l entreprise. Les entreprises doivent confi gurer la stratégie de leur Supply Chain afi n d intégrer les impératifs sociaux, environnementaux et économiques de demain. Pour les entreprises qui ont décidé de s engager dans un processus de développement durable, il est nécessaire de combiner le développement économique avec une meilleure organisation durable des processus d approvisionnements, production ou transport. There is a strong shift towards a more sustainable approach in the way business is conducted; therefore modern companies have to reconfi gure their Supply Chain strategy to fulfi ll the social, environmental and economic needs of tomorrow. As the world s second largest sportswear manufacturer, ADIDAS is constantly aiming for a more sustainable Supply Chain. Hence, the company is engaging itself in various projects that concern the management of their suppliers, their environmental footprint and the management of their human resources. La complexité des demandes du marché demande toujours plus de simplifi cation des processus de la Supply Chain. Il est nécessaire d adopter des démarches et des outils pour amener davantage de standardisation et une réponse plus rapide aux attentes des clients. Changing market trends and a global competition force many companies to look for new ways to improve their customer s satisfaction.
