Holidays: Plans, Experiences and Preferences This time we are learning about holidays. More specifically, how to plan holidays, talking about your experiences on holiday and the activities you like to do abroad. This will involve learning vocabulary relating to holidays and key expressions. Sample questions are also included in this article. Countries Each country is either masculine or feminine, and how we translate to changes with the gender and of the country. - With feminine countries or masculine countries that start with a vowel, we use en - for example, Je vais aller en France (I am going to go to France). - For a masculine country, we use au for example Je vais aller au Canada (I am going to go to Canada). - For plural masculine or feminine countries, we use aux for example Ma famille va aux Etats-Unis (My family is going to the United States). 1
