Using the sports that the students have learned, tell the class to use symbols or draw stick figures to illustrate five different sports. Focus on only 5 sports or sports that correspond with jouer and the next lesson, sports that correspond with faire. Students can interview one partner using the Trouvez quelqu un worksheet instead of walking around and asking different classmates. Ask students to split their paper into 6 sections and illustrate 6 different pictures to go along with 6 different sports phrases. Each picture should have a complete sentence as well as one object labeled. For example: One section may read, J aime foot with a picture of a soccer ball and the ball labeled la balle. Share with their peers which sports they like to do in the winter, summer, spring, and fall. Formative: Circulate to assess students participation, cooperation, use of French. Summative: Collect exit slips where each student will have written 3 sentences. Evaluate on the use of complete sentences that the students have learned in the lesson.
