Write the dialogue between you and the callers. If you like, illustrate your story in the empty boxes on the right. 1. The phone rings! Answer it. Say the name of your company, and your name. It s break time. I phone my friend and arrange to go to a movie tonight. The Prime Minister of Canada phones. I ask him if he wants to leave a message. The phone rings again, and again, and again! It s like this until 5 p.m., and then I hop on the bus and go home. Now practise your dialogue with a friend, a classmate or a family member. Go back to Describe the scene and explain it in your own words. Explain to the person the role he or she is playing. Read out all parts of the dialogue to help you explain this.
