Lot of people wait for the sale period to buy their clothes.they often go for the window shopping. M.Lavigne is looking for an overcoat. He enters into a shop. the section for menswear is at the right of the shop. a salesperson comes towards M. Lavigne. Salesperson : what do you want sir? M.Lavigne : I am looking for an overcoat. Salesperson : we have a wide range of coats. here it is sir, in your size we have black,brown and grey coats. M.Lavigne : oh! I like this grey coat. How much is it? Salesperson : 50 euros. M.Lavigne : It is very expensive! Salesperson : but the quality is good. M.Lavigne : so, I take the coat. ( Mr. Lavigne pays at the cash counter and leaves the shop. )

2 Leçon 7 Allons à Paris Come! lets go to Paris in France. Paris, the city of the lights is the capital of France. It is a beautiful city situated on the river Seine. The river Seine divides the city into two parts : the right bank (in north) and the left bank( in south ). Paris is a very ancient city and it has 20 administrative subdivisions. It is the economic, cultural, industrial and commercial center of France. It has beautiful museums theatres, monuments and avenues. Many tourists visit Paris. We can visit Paris in taxi, in bus, in ship or in metro. The metro in Paris is one of the most common transport.

3 Leçon 9 Au café des Laurent Manuel and Aneesh go to the restaurant Manuel : what do you want to eat? Aneesh : I don t know. Manuel : take a ham sandwich. Aneesh : no, I don t like ham. Aneesh : Sir, please bring a cheese sandwich and grape juice for me. waiter : And you sir, what would you like to have? Manuel : give me a ham sandwich and a lemonade. The waiter brings the plates the spoons, the cups and the glasses on the tray. In two minutes he serves the sandwich and the drinks. He gives the bill. Manuel pays the bill and he gives a tip to the boy.

4 Leçon 10 Encore une Lettre de Rouen Dear Ravi You don t reply to me. Do you receive my letters? I am good and you? In this letter, I am describing my past time activities and my favourite sports. the sports, its fantastic! Especially I like to play tennis and basket ball. I also like to watch T.V, listening to the music and dining at the restaurant. Every Wednesday afternoon, we don t have any class. We enjoy with our friends and we do our homework. Every Saturday afternoon, I go to the sports ground with my friends and we play basketball. Some students play the music or dance. What are your leisure time activities? Here it is very cold. How is the winters in your country? During the vacations of Xmas, we go to the mountains. I love to do skiing with my brother Denis. He loves to play football. He likes to read but he hates to work. 5 Ma Maison J habite dans un appartment. il y a trois pièces dans ma maison. il y a un salon, deux chambres, deux salle de bains, une cuisine, et une salle à manger. Dans notre salon, il y a une télé, des sofas, des peintures, une table basse, un tapis. les murs sont de couleurs jaunes. notre salon est bien décoré. Dans ma chambre, on trouve ( find) du lit, un ordinateur sur la table, des étagiers des livres, une armoire de vetements. ma chambre est petite et belle. Dans la chambre de mes parents, il ya du grand lit, des lampes a gauche et a droite du lit, des peintures, des sofas, une armoire. c est une grande pièce. Il y a deux salle de bains dans notre maison. les deux ont des robinets, des douches, des savons, des shampooing, des dentifrices, des serviettes. Il y a une belle cuisine blanche aussi. on met le réfrigerateur, la lave-vaisselle, des assiettes, des verres, des cuillères, des fouchettes dans la cuisine. Dans la salle à manger, nous prenons le petit dejeuner, le dejeuner et le diner. Ici, il y a des tables et des chaises. J aime ma maison.
