1 Appendix E International Civil Aviation Organization Western and Central African Office THIRD MEETING OF THE AFI REGION AIM IMPLEMENTATION TASK FORCE (Dakar, Senegal, October 2014) INFORMATION BULLETIN 1. Venue of the Meeting The Meeting will take place in the conference room of ICAO Regional Office for Western and Central Africa, located around Leopold Sedar Senghor International Airport, Dakar-Yoff, Senegal. Opening Session The Opening Session of the Meeting will take place on Wednesday 15 October 2014 at 09:00 hours in the ICAO WACAF conference room, where subsequent sessions will also be held. 4. Registration The registration of participants will take place at the site of the meeting on Wednesday 15 October 2014 from 08:00 to 09:00 hours. 5. Instruction and Documentation The Meeting will be facilitated by Mr. George BALDEH Regional Officer AIM of the ICAO Dakar Office. The meeting will be paperless and all related documentation will be on line at and participants are informed to bring laptops for access.

2 6. Weather and Clothing October is the end of the raining season in Senegal and the average temperature in Dakar is around 30 C. 7. Passport and visa requirements Procedures for obtaining an entry visa for Senegal Effective on 1 July 2013, all applications for visas will be made online. The website for online visa applications is functional starting this week. To complete the application online and make payment for the visa, the applicant should visit or in case of difficulty or additional information, contact in Dakar: Tel: (00221) Info line: (00221) (24h/24h) contact@snedai.sn The visa applicant gets the options to be either pre-enrolled online or at the nearest Enrollment Center. If successful, the applicant will receive a confirmation document issuing visas Pre-Enrollment with a bar code and all relevant information. After a processing time of 48 hours, the applicant can withdraw the visa, either in one of Enrolment Centers or upon arrival at the airport of Dakar based on Pre-Visa document. Note: To avoid the queues at the Leopold Sédar Senghor International Airport in Dakar, it is STRONGLY recommended that the applicant obtain an entry Visa, before travelling, to the closest enrolment center. At this stage, 18 Enrolment Centers are created in the following countries: - Africa: South Africa, Cameroon, Gambia, Mauritania; - Europe: Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Russia; - America: USA (Washington, New York) - Asia: China, India Note: For non-listed diplomatic representations, the visa will be issued at the Dakar airport after a successful pre-enrollment online. 8. Health Participants are informed that a valid certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required. The participants should ensure that they have applied for a valid health insurance for the coverage of any medical care during their staying in Senegal.

3 9. Banks Banks are located not far away from the Airport and are opened from 07:40 to 12:15 hours and 13:40 to 15:45 hours from Monday to Friday. 10. Hotels A list of recommended hotels is attached hereto and participants are informed that no transport service from the hotels to the meeting place will be made available by ICAO.
