9 PROCÉDURE DE MISE EN SERVICE OmniVista INSTALLATION Si votre serveur OmniVista 4760 n'est pas encore en version c, nous vous recommandons d'installer directement la version b. Pour le détail de l'installation et des mises à jour, se reporter a la communication technique TC0834 Procédure de mise en service de la version c - Release 4.1. Nouvelles recommandations Si Terminal Server est installé et configuré sur le serveur 4760, il faut le désinstaller avant de démarrer une installation ou une mise à jour OmniVista Ne pas utiliser le Bureau à distance pour installer/mettre à jour OmniVista Arrêter les antivirus. Vérifier que les services Téléphonie et Serveur soient démarrés. Vérifier le PATH : par défaut %systemroot%;system%\system32 ce qui peut correspondre à c:\winnt\system32;c:\winnt ou c:\windows\system32;c:\windows Vérifier que le login Windows utilisé pour installer OmniVista 4760 possède les droits administrateur local. 7. MISES À JOUR 7.1. Mise à jour du serveur Mises à jour supportées R b R b R d R b R c R b Pour mettre à jour le serveur, exécuter ServerSetup.exe Mise à jour du client Mises à jour supportées R c R b se connecter au serveur avec un client 4760, sélectionner Upgrade. ÉCHEC INSTALLATION/MISE À JOUR Après l échec de l installation ou de la mise à jour de la version OmniVista 4760 R4.1, il est nécessaire de nettoyer la base de registres tel qu indiqué dans le manuel Installation. Désinstaller s'ils sont présents : Serveur OmniVista Sybase SUN ONE Directory Server 3 Redémarrer le PC Serveur A partir du CDROM OmniVista 4760 : se placer sous \Tools lancer Service Manager.exe détruire (Remove) les services suivants : Orbacus, SUN ONE xxx, Sybase, NMC, Apache, etc. 5 Ouvrir la base de registres et supprimer la clé produit de désinstallation commençant par : 516E1F (client 4760) 92F1 (client 4760) 9850FC3 (serveur 4760) Ed. 01 / TC0876

12 OmniVista 4760 PROCÉDURE DE MISE EN SERVICE 10. INSTALLATION DE PATCHS SUR UNE VERSION EXISTANTE Les patchs correctifs sont livrés sous la forme d'un fichier compressé d'extension ".ace". Si le patch est livré sur le CDROM de la version, l'installation du patch est effectuée automatiquement après l'installation de la version. Si le patch est livré séparément, il faut réaliser son installation manuellement. Pour ce faire : 1 se placer sur le répertoire 4760\install\patch, 2 effacer le contenu de ce répertoire s'il n'est pas vide, 3 copier les fichiers ".ace" correspondant au patch, 4 ouvrir une fenêtre DOS puis se placer sous \4760\install, 5 lancer \4760\install\patchinstaller L'installation du patch est tracée dans le fichier \4760\install\patch_installer.log. L'ensemble des patchs installés peut être consulté sous \4760\install\patch_history.ini. 11. LOG DE L'INSTALLATION En fin d'installation ou en cas de rollback, un log est immédiatement accessible sur le dernier écran d'installation. Il correspond au fichier \DOCUMENT AND SETTING\<LoginWindows>\LOCAL SETTINGS \Temp\OmniVista4760_report.log Il décrit les principales étapes d'installation et renvoie vers le fichier OmniVista4760_install.log pour plus d'informations.
