1 COLLEGE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS Registration Policy on Post Secondary and Degree Programs in Early Childhood Education (Canada, other than Ontario) (Approved December 19, 2008 as amended September 21, 2009, March 24, 2010, March 1, 2011 and ) 1. Pursuant to subparagraph 7.1.ii of Ontario Regulation 221/08, each of the programs listed on Schedule 1 attached to this policy (herein "Schedule 1") offered at the educational institution listed therein is considered to be equivalent to a diploma program in early childhood education offered by an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology and is hereby approved by the College. 2. Pursuant to subparagraph 7.1.iii of Ontario Regulation 221/08, each of the degrees listed on Schedule 2 attached to this policy (herein "Schedule 2") offered at the university listed therein is considered to have major course content, both academic and practical, which is relevant to early childhood education and is hereby approved by the College. 3. This policy and the Schedules may be amended, from time to time, restated, revoked or replaced. 4. This policy shall be effective on February 14, 2009.
