Nollywood Week Paris showcases the best of Nigerian cinema. La Nollywood Week fait découvrir au public le meilleur du cinéma Nigérian. The Nigerian film industry, or Nollywood as it is colloquially called, has gone beyond national borders becoming the second largest industry in the world. Despite this, it remains largely inaccessible to the French public. As Paris is the epicentre of world cinema, it cannot overlook a phenomenon such as Nollywood. Nollywood est un phénomène suscitant un intérêt qui dépasse largement les frontières du Nigeria (pays où il a été conçu). Malgré cela il restait tout simplement inaccessible aux cinéphiles vivant à Paris. Or la capitale française est un indéniable point de convergence pour le cinéma international, il était alors naturel qu elle abrite un festival dédié au deuxième producteur de films au monde. 3 press@nollywoodweek.com

Located between the Latin Quarter and the famous Montparnasse Ideally located across from the metro and bus stop, a few blocks from the airport shuttle and regional train stations at Montparnasse Opening and Closing night will be held in the 400- seat newly renovated theatre Friday, Saturday and Sunday screenings will take place in the 100-seat theatre The Lounge and Bar area will all be branded and occupied by NollywoodWeek
