2 Information sur le projet Titre: Code Projet: Programmes d apprentissage en ligne au commerce international pour le développement des PME TR1-LEO Année: 2010 Type de Projet: Statut: Accroche marketing: Résumé: Projets de transfert d'innovation Accordé Suite destinée à augmenter la participation des PME au commerce international et ainsi, améliorer la performance et la productivité commerciales et professionnelles InTeLS-TR is the abbrevaton for International Trade e-learning suite for SMEs in TuRkey. It is a vocational training project financed by the European Commission, under the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme - Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation (LdV), coordinated by the National Agency of Turkey (Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes). The project was developed with the purpose of transferring the previous LdV project InTeLS, coordinated by Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, one of the InTeLS-TR Project partners, by adapting the results and management methods of this project to the local needs of Turkish SMEs, in order to foster and encourage vocational education in international trade. The training materials of the project, namely Foreign Trade Guide, Foreign Trade Training Animation and Export Simulation Game, present complicated subjects of foreign trade in an easy to understand way. The target groups of the project are foreign trade staff of SMEs and students who wish to work in these companies. Foreign trade professionals are also targeted thanks to the web links given throughout the Foreign Trade Guide.The online Foreign Trade Guide consists of four main sections: Exporting, Importing, Transportation and Logistics and Global Trade. Foreign Trade Training Animation presents the main subjects in the Foreign Trade Guide, namely Basics of International Trade, Incoterms and Terms of payment, in an easier format. The Export Simulation Game allows users to learn foreign trade management by playing taking into account all possible risks and variables in the international competition environment. Description: The InTeLS-TR Export Simulation Game is a highly interactive and multi-faceted resource which aims to contribute to the managerial skills of exporters in an applied environment. The game is based on the scenario of a small company that wishes to start exporting. The objective for the player is to make key critical decisions ranging from product choice to target market, product quality and positioning, promotional activities, and competitive pressures within the game in order to trade successfully internationally. The main objective of the game is to train the player about the various issues associated with international trade in a context which is true to life while running a business. The game complements the InTeLS-TR Foreign Trade Guide and Foreign Trade Training Animation by helping learners to identify particular areas where they may have lack of knowledge. Having identified the 'lack of knowledge' subject, they will then be able to find the relevant subject material through the Guide or the Animation. The fact that the game can be played repetitively through-out the learner s learning phase and that it allows players to test their new found knowledge in the context of the game motivates them to learn by playing in an entertaining, flexible and true to life setting.
