CITEX va contribuer à leur fournir des professionnels hautement qualifiés et compétents dans le domaine de l Intelligence Compétitive. Better knowledge of the corporate environment and the global market is crucial to survive in today s global economy. In this context, Competitive Intelligence (CI) has proven to be effective in helping organizations develop successful strategies. Nevertheless, organisations, particularly SMEs, often lack the resources to hire or train CI professionals. CITEX will fill this gap by designing, producing, and making available to SME professionals, the academic and educational materials needed to enhance their CI related skills and knowledge. CITEX's endgoal is to endow workers and organizations with the necessary tools to face today's economic challenges. CITEX s will generate ICT-based content based on appropriate state-of-the-art pedagogies. Specifically, our approach will incorporate new approaches such as social learning, knowledge sharing mechanisms, on-demand learning, organisational cooperation and exchange, management of cultural/linguistic diversity and so forth. Our ICT approach will also see that staff training on e-tool operability is successful as this will determine the success of the CITEX innovative approach. The working packages are the following: WP1: EU Benchmarking on training initiatives in Competitive Intelligence and Business Support Centres. WP2: Design of global training method: professional profiles, learning methodology, training pathways, tools and modules content. WP3: Pilot experience, testing, adjusting and validating training process. WP4:Dissemination and transference. WP5: Management and evaluation.
