4 1. Einführung Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde, wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses Produkts. Dieses Produkt entspricht den gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, müssen Sie als Anwender diese Bedienungsanleitung beachten! 5 2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Diese kompakte 2-Zonen Alarmanlage wurde speziell für kleine Läden, Wohnungen und Wohnmobile entwickelt. Diese vielfältig einsetzbare 2-Zonen-Alarmanlage verfügt über zwei Alarmzonen (Differenzialschleifen), einem integrierten Tür-Gong und Signalgeber sowie einer Status-LED, von welcher sich der Betriebsstatus komfortabel ablesen lässt. Die beiden Alarmzonen unterscheiden sich in ihrer Funktion der Alarm-Aktivierung. Alarmzone 1 löst im Alarmfall den Alarm augenblicklich und unverzögert aus. Alarmzone 2 löst im Alarmfall den Alarm verzögert, nach Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung, aus. Beide Alarmzonen benötigen einen Abschlusswiderstand (engl.: EOL; = end of line; im Lieferumfang enthalten). Nähere Informationen hierzu finden Sie im Kapitel: 7.1 Alarmzone 1 und 2. Der integrierte Türgong kann mit einem herkömmlichen N.O. (normally open) Taster, welcher an die Anschlussklemmen 9 und 10 angeschlossen wird, aktiviert werden. Durch den an der Frontseite angebrachten Modus-Wahlschalter kann die Alarmanlage scharf geschalten bei Abwesenheit (AWAY), scharf geschalten bei Anwesenheit (HOME) oder unscharf geschaltet (OFF) werden. Des weiteren können z.b. bis zu zwei 8 Ohm Lautsprecher (Anschlussklemme 4 + 5), ein optischer oder akustischer Signalgeber (Anschlussklemme 6 + 7; = N.O. Relaiskontakt) und ein externer Schlüsselschalter, sowie eine externe Status-LED angeschlossen werden. Die Betriebsspannung wird an die Anschlussklemmen 7 und 8 angeschlossen und kann 12 bis 16 V/DC betragen. 5

6 Die Alarmanlage ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb in trockenen Innenräumen geeignet. Eine andere Verwendung als die zuvor beschrieben ist verboten und kann das Produkt beschädigen, was mit Risiken wie Kurzschluss, Brand, usw. verbunden ist. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht verändert oder umgebaut werden. Die Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung sind unbedingt zu beachten. Bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und bewahren Sie diese für spätere Rückfragen gut auf. 3. Symbol-Erklärungen Das Symbol mit dem Blitz im Dreieck wird verwendet, wenn Gefahr für Ihre Gesundheit besteht, z.b. durch einen elektrischen Schlag. Dieses Symbol weist Sie auf besondere Gefahren bei Handhabung, Betrieb oder Bedienung hin. Das Pfeil -Symbol steht für spezielle Tipps und Bedienhinweise. 6

7 5. Sicherheitshinweise Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, erlischt die Gewährleistung/Garantie! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir keine Haftung! Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung! In solchen Fällen erlischt die Gewährleistung/Garantie. Das Produkt darf nicht verändert oder umgebaut werden, sonst erlischt nicht nur die Zulassung (CE), sondern auch die Gewährleistung/Garantie. Das Produkt darf nicht extremen Temperaturen, direktem Sonnenlicht, Feuchtigkeit, intensiver Vibration oder schwerer mechanischer Beanspruchung ausgesetzt werden. Nach raschem Temperaturwechsel benötigt das Produkt erst eine Zeit zur Stabilisierung, um sich an die neue Umgebungstemperatur anzupassen, bevor es verwendet werden kann. Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen Sie niemals Verpackungsmaterial unachtsam herumliegen. Plastikfolien/Taschen usw. können für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden, es besteht Erstickungsgefahr. Wenn anzunehmen ist, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist, so ist das Gerät außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen unbeabsichtigten Betrieb zu sichern. Gewitter können eine Gefahr für jedes elektrische Gerät sein. Überspannungen auf der Stromleitung können das Gerät beschädigen. Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb in trockenen Innenräumen geeignet. 7

8 In der Nähe der Alarmanlage sollte sich kein Gerät mit starken elektrischen oder magnetischen Feldern befinden (z.b. Funktelefon, Funkgerät, elektrischer Motor etc.). Auch direkte Wärmequellen können zu Funktionsstörungen führen. Die Betriebsspannung beträgt V/DC. Gießen Sie nie Flüssigkeiten über elektrischen Geräten aus. Betreiben Sie das Produkt nie abgedeckt. Sorgen Sie stets für eine ausreichende Belüftung. Beachten Sie auch die Bedienungsanleitungen der Produkte, welche mit dieser Alarmanlage verwendet werden. Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von einer qualifizierten Fachkraft bzw. einer Fachwerkstatt durchgeführt werden. Sollten Sie noch Fragen haben, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht beantwortet werden, so wenden Sie sich bitte an unsere technische Beratung. 8

Montage Achten Sie während der Montage darauf, dass die Alarmzentrale spannungsfrei und stromlos ist. 6.1 Montageort der Alarmanlage Beim Montageort der Alarmanlage sollte beachtet werden, dass die Alarmanlage vor dem Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung (innerhalb von 30 Sekunden) zugänglich ist. Je nach Montageort bietet sich ggf. eine zusätzliche Absicherung des Montageortes über einen Melder (z.b. Bewegungsmelder) an. Achten Sie bei der Auswahl des Montageortes Ihres Systems darauf, dass Einstrahlung von direktem, intensivem Sonnenlicht, Vibrationen, Staub, Hitze, Kälte und Feuchtigkeit vermieden werden müssen. 6.2 Zusätzliche Tipps vor der Montage Vor der eigentlichen Montage der Alarmzentrale und der einzelnen Komponenten sollten Sie sich mit Hilfe eines Grundrisses des zu überwachenden Objektes einen Plan erstellen und diesen z.b. auf Papier zu skizzieren, um somit festzuhalten wie eine optimale und individuelle Absicherung Ihres Objektes zu realisieren ist. Zeichnen Sie die Melder der zu sichernden Türen, Fenster, Räume etc. entsprechend ein. Beachten Sie dabei die Eigenschaften (z.b. Erfassungswinkel eines Bewegungsmelders) der einzelnen Melder. Durch diese Skizze kann auch der eventuelle Materialbedarf (z.b. Länge und Aderzahl der Leitungen, Anzahl der Bewegungsmelder, Tür-/Fenstermelder etc.) abgeschätzt werden. 9

10 6.3 Montage der Alarmanlage Nachdem Sie einen geeigneten Montageort gefunden haben, kann die Alarmanlage montiert werden. Die Alarmanlage wird mit zwei Schrauben z.b. an einer Wand befestigt. Hierfür stehen zwei Montagelöcher an der Alarmanlage zur Verfügung (siehe Bild rechts). Achten Sie beim Bohren darauf, dass Sie nicht versehentlich Strom-, Gas oder Wasserleitungen beschädigen. Montieren Sie die Alarmanlage mit geeignetem Montagematerial (verwenden Sie dazu ggf. die dem Lieferumfang beiliegenden Schrauben) 10

11 7. Anschluss Nach erfolgreicher Montage kann nun mit dem Anschluss begonnen werden. Nehmen Sie dazu die Abdeckung des Anschlussterminals ab. Diese ist mit zwei Schrauben befestigt. Setzen Sie nach erfolgreichem Anschluss die Abdeckung wieder auf und befestigen die zuvor entnommenen Befestigungsschrauben. Die zum Betrieb erforderliche Spannung beträgt V/DC an den Anschlussklemmen 7 (-) und 8 (+). Achten Sie hierbei auf die richtige Polarität um das Produkt nicht zu beschädigen! Wir empfehlen zusätzlich den Anschluss eines Bleiakkus (12 V, 1,2 Ah), um den Betrieb bei Stromausfall aufrecht zu erhalten. Beachten Sie hierzu das Anschlussbeispiel im Kapitel: 7.8! Aktivieren Sie die Betriebsspannung erst, nachdem Sie sämtliche Anschlussarbeiten vorgenommen haben. 11

12 7.1 Alarmzone 1 und 2 Hinweise: N.O. (Normally Open Kontakte, Sensoren mit offenen Kontakten bei Alarm geschlossen) N.C. (Normally Closed Kontakte, Sensoren mit geschlossenen Kontakten bei Alarm offen) In beiden Alarmzonen können Sensoren mit N.C. und N.O. Kontakten verwendet werden. Alarmzone 1 löst im Alarmfall sofort Alarm aus. N.C. Anschlussbeispiel Alarmzone 1: INSTANT - N.O. 10K EOL Alarmzone 2 löst im Alarmfall den Alarm verzögert, nach Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung (= 30 Sekunden), aus. N.C. Anschlussbeispiel Alarmzone 2: - DELAYED N.O. 10K EOL Die Alarmzone 1 entspricht den Anschlussklemmen 1 und 2. Die Alarmzone 2 entspricht den Anschlussklemmen 2 und 3. 12

13 Die Anschlussklemme 2 ist der gemeinsame Bezugspunkt (-) für beide Alarmzonen. Schließen Sie Sensoren mit N.C.- Kontakten in Reihe und Sensoren mit N.O.- Kontakten parallel an. Wenn keine Sensoren mit N.C Kontakten verwendet werden, muss ein 10kOhm Abschlusswiderstand (EOL) zur Terminierung eingebaut werden (im Lieferumfang enthalten). Die Alarmzone 2 ist optimal geeignet für Sensoren, welche im Innenbereich (wie z.b. Bewegungsmelder) montiert werden, da diese Sensoren beim Betreten des Hauses Alarm auslösen würden. Ein Alarm wird erst nach Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung (= 30 Sekunden) ausgelöst. Innerhalb dieser Zeit kann die Alarmanlage unscharf geschaltet werden (dazu muss der Modus-Wahlschalter an der Frontseite zurück in die Position OFF gesetzt werden). Um einen ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb der Sensoren mit N.C.- Kontakt zu gewährleisten, muss darauf geachtet werden, dass jeder Sensor mit N.C.- Kontakt einen maximalen Widerstandswert von 1k Ohm besitzt. 7.2 Anschluss externer Signalgeber An die Anschlussklemmen 4 (-) und 5 (+) können maximal zwei 8 Ohm Signalgeber/Lautsprecher parallel angeschlossen werden. 14 7.3 Relaiskontakt (N.O.) Bei der Anschlussklemme 6 (+) und 7 (-) handelt es sich um einen Relaiskontakt (N.O. normally open). Der Relaiskontakt kann als Timing-Modus oder als Latch- Modus festgelegt werden. + + Dies kann durch die Steckbrücke C festgelegt werden (s. Kapitel 9: Funktion der Steckbrücken) Timing-Modus: Der Relaiskontakt wird nach 3 Minuten wieder zurückgesetzt, nachdem ein Alarm ausgelöst wurde. Latch-Modus: Der Relaiskontakt bleibt nach einer Alarmauslösung solange angezogen bis das System wieder zurückgesetzt wird. Es können z.b. optische oder akustische Signalgeber angeschlossen werden. Die Kontaktbelastbarkeit des Relais beträgt max. 12 V/DC, 5 A. Beachten Sie hierbei die geltenden gesetzlichen und kommunalen Bestimmungen! In Deutschland ist eine maximale Alarmdauer von 3 Minuten (= 180 Sekunden) zugelassen. Diese Zeit kann aber in bestimmten Gemeinden und Orten anders geregelt sein (z. B. in Kurorten). 14

15 + 7.4 Anschluss Betriebsspannung Die Betriebsspannung (12-16 V/DC) wird an die Anschlussklemmen 7 (-) und 8 (+) angeschlossen. 12VDC/500MA MIN. POWER ADAPTOR + OR 12V BATTERY Aktivieren Sie die Betriebsspannung erst, nachdem Sie sämtliche Anschlussarbeiten vorgenommen haben. 7.5 Anschluss Türgong-Taster Die Anschlussklemmen 9 und 10 sind für den Anschluss eines Tür-Gong-Tasters vorgesehen. Der Anschluss ist für einen Taster mit N.O. (normally open) Kontakt geeignet. DOOR BELL BUTTON(S) N.O Der Türgong ist 24 Stunden am Tag betriebsbereit, sofern die Alarmanlage ordnungsgemäß mit Spannung versorgt wird. 15

16 7.6 Anschluss eines Schlüsselschalters An die Anschlussklemmen 10 und 11 kann ein Schlüsselschalter angeschlossen werden. Somit ist es möglich, die Alarmanlage anhand dieses Schalters scharfbzw. unscharf zu schalten. KEYSWITCH Die Alarmanlage ist unscharf geschaltet, sofern der angeschlossene Kontakt geschlossen ist. Die Alarmanlage wird scharf geschaltet (nach Ablauf der Austrittsverzögerung = 60 Sekunden), wenn der Kontakt geöffnet wird. Achten Sie stets darauf, dass der sich an der Frontseite befindliche Schiebeschalter auf die Position HOME bzw. AWAY gesetzt ist, sofern die Scharf- bzw. Unscharfschaltung durch einen externen Schlüsselschalter vorgenommen werden soll. 7.7 Anschluss einer externen Status-LED An die Anschlussklemmen 5 (+) und 12 kann eine zusätzliche Status-LED angeschlossen werden. Damit ist es möglich, von einem anderen Standort aus den Betriebsstatus der Alarmanlage zu erkennen. 1K LED + Die Funktion der externen Status-LED ist identisch mit der Funktion der Status- LED EXIT auf der Frontseite der Alarmanlage

18 8. Funktionen des Modus-Wahlschalter Der Modus-Wahlschalter befindet sich auf der Frontseite der Alarmanlage. Anhand des Modus-Wahlschalters können drei verschiedene Betriebs-Modi festgelegt werden. HOME OFF AWAY OFF: Das gesamte Alarmsystem ist ausgeschaltet. Davon ausgenommen ist die Funktion des Türgongs. HOME OFF AWAY HOME: Die Alarmanlage ist eingeschaltet und die Austrittsverzögerung startet (Dauer = 60 Sekunden). Nach Ablauf der Austrittsverzögerung wird ausschließlich die Alarmzone 1 scharf geschaltet. OFF AWAY: Die Alarmanlage ist eingeschaltet und die Austrittsverzögerung startet (Dauer = 60 Sekunden). Nach Ablauf HOME AWAY der Austrittsverzögerung werden beide Alarmzonen scharf geschaltet. Während der Austrittsverzögerung blinkt die Status-LED EXIT schnell. Nach Ablauf der Austrittsverzögerung ertönt ein kurzer Signalton (je nach Stellung der Steckbrücke B). Sobald die Alarmanlage scharf geschaltet ist, blinkt die Status-LED EXIT langsam. 18

19 9. Funktionen der Steckbrücken Die Steckbrücken befinden sich auf der Platine rechts neben dem Anschlussterminal. Steckbrücke 1 (interner Signalgeber) A A 1 2 AKTIVIERT Es wird im Alarmfall ein akustischer Alarm durch den internen Signalgeber ausgelöst. 1 2 DEAKTIVIERT Es wird im Alarmfall kein akustischer Alarm durch den internen Signalgeber ausgelöst. Dies betrifft nicht den internen Türgong sowie die Signaltöne. Steckbrücke 2 (Signaltöne) B B 1 2 AKTIVIERT a) Sobald die Alarmzone 2 auslöst, gibt das System kurze Signaltöne durch den internen Signalgeber ab, während die Eintrittsverzögerung aktiv ist. b) Die Alarmanlage gibt einen kurzen Signalton ab, nachdem die Austrittsverzögerung abgelaufen ist und die Alarmzonen scharf geschaltet sind. 1 2 DEAKTIVIERT Setzen Sie die Steckbrücke B auf die Position 2, um die Signaltöne zu deaktivieren. 19

20 Steckbrücke 3 (Modus für Relaisausgang festlegen) C C Relaiskontakt bleibt geschlossen Relaiskontakt bleibt ca. 3 Minuten geschlossen Der Relaiskontakt bleibt nach einem Alarmfall dauerhaft geschlossen, bis der Alarm zurückgesetzt wird (dazu muss der Modus- Wahlschalter an der Frontseite auf die Position OFF gestellt werden). Es liegt 12 V/DC an der Anschlussklemme 6 und 7 an. Der Relaiskontakt nach einem Alarmfall ca. 3 Minuten geschlossen, bis der Alarm zurückgesetzt wird (dazu muss der Modus- Wahlschalter geschlossen an der Frontseite auf die Position OFF gestellt werden). Es liegt 12 V/DC an der Anschlussklemme 6 und 7 an. 20

21 10. Inbetriebnahme und Systemtest Nachdem die Alarmanlage ordnungsgemäß montiert und sämtliche Anschlussarbeiten erfolgreich abgeschlossen wurden, kann mit der Inbetriebnahme fortgefahren werden. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor: Aktivieren Sie die Spannungsquelle, um die Alarmanlage mit Betriebsspannung zu versorgen. Nachdem die Betriebsspannung zugeschaltet wird, ertönt ein kurzer Signalton. Die Alarmanlage benötigt nun ca. 90 Sekunden zur Initialisierung. Während dieser Initialisierung blinkt die Status-LED EXIT schnell. Nach Ablauf der Initialisierungsphase erlischt die Status-LED EXIT. Stellen Sie den Modus-Wahlschalter auf die Position AWAY (da in dieser Schalterstellung beide Alarmzonen scharf geschaltet werden). Nun startet die Austrittsverzögerung (ca. 60 Sekunden). Während der Austrittsverzögerung blinkt die Status-LED EXIT - schnell. Nach Ablauf der Austrittsverzögerung ertönt ein kurzer Signalton, anschließend blinkt die Status-LED EXIT langsam. Die Alarmanlage ist nun scharf geschaltet. Die Status-LED EXIT leuchtet dauerhaft, wenn in einer Alarmzone ein Sensor ausgelöst hat (dies gilt, sofern der Modus-Wahlschalter auf Position HOME oder AWAY gesetzt ist). Überprüfen Sie in diesem Fall den korrekten Anschluss der Sensoren und ob der Sensor aktiviert ist. Überprüfen Sie z.b., ob Fenster und Türen geschlossen sind und somit die daran angebrachten Tür-/Fenster-Melder nicht aktiviert sind. 21

22 Aktivieren Sie einen Sensor, welcher sich in der Alarmzone 2 befindet. Es startet der Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung (ca. 30 Sekunden). Sofern die Signaltöne aktiviert sind, werden diese wiedergegeben. Zudem blinkt die Status- LED EXIT langsam. Nach Ablauf der Eintrittsverzögerung wird der Alarm ausgelöst und die Status-LED EXIT leuchtet dauerhaft. Der Alarm kann jederzeit beendet und somit die Alarmanlage unscharf geschaltet werden, indem der Modus-Wahlschalter auf die Position OFF gesetzt wird. Die Anlage kann auch durch einen externen Schlüsselschalter unscharf geschaltet werden. Führen Sie den Systemtest erneut durch, um Sensoren aus der Alarmzone 1 zu testen. 22

23 11. Erläuterung System-Status Der System-Status wird durch die Status-LED EXIT dargestellt. Es kann auch eine externe Status-LED (siehe Kapitel 7.7 Anschluss einer externen Status- LED ) an die Alarmanlage angeschlossen werden. Die externe Status-LED besitzt die identische Funktion wie die Status-LED EXIT. Dieser System-Status ist gegeben, wenn der Modus-Wahlschalter auf die Position OFF gesetzt ist. Das System ist scharf geschaltet. Die Eintritts- bzw. Austrittsverzögerung ist gegenwärtig aktiv. 23

24 Status-LED Bedeutung Erläuterung Leuchtet dauerhaft Fehler in Alarmzone 1 oder 2 Sensor hat ausgelöst Alarmanlage wurde nach einem Alarm nicht unscharf geschaltet Fehler in Alarmzone 1 oder 2: Überprüfen Sie die Anschlüsse der Alarmzone 1 bzw. 2 und deren Sensoren. Ein Sensor wurde aktiviert: Überprüfen Sie die angeschlossenen Sensoren. Prüfen Sie ob ggf. Fenster oder Türen geöffnet sind an denen ein Tür-/Fenstermelder (=Magnetkontakt) angeschlossen ist. Nachdem die Alarmanlage einen Alarm ausgelöst hat und die akustische Signalisierungsdauer (= ca. 3 Minuten) abgelaufen ist, bleibt die Alarmmeldung gespeichert und wird optisch durch dauerhaftes leuchten der Status- LED angezeigt. 29 2. Intended use This compact 2-zone alarm system was specifically developed for small shops, apartments and caravans. This diverse 2 zone alarm system has two alarm zones (differential loops), an integrated door bell and signalling device and a status LED where the operating status can be comfortably read. The two alarm zones differ in the alarm activation function. Alarm zone 1 triggers the alarm immediately and without delay in case of alarm. Alarm zone 2 triggers the alarm with a delay after the end of the entry delay. Both alarm zones require an end of line resistor (EOL; included in the delivery). For more information on this, see chapter: 7.1 Alarm Zones 1 and 2 The integrated door bell can be activated with a conventional N.O. (normally open) button that is connected to the connection terminals 9 and 10. The alarm system can be armed during absence (AWAY), armed during presence (HOME) or disarmed (OFF) with the mode selection switch on the front. Furthermore, e.g. up to two 8 Ohm speakers (connection terminal 4 + 5), an optical or acoustic signalling device (connection terminal 6 + 7; = N.O. relay contact) and an external key switch, as well as an external status LED can be connected. Installation Ensure that the alarm control centre is non-charged and without power supply during installation. 6.1 Alarm system installation site When choosing the alarm system s installation site, observe precisely that the alarm system can be reached before the end of the entry delay (within 30 seconds). Depending on installation site, it may be a good idea to additionally secure the installation site via a signalling device (e.g. motion detector). When selecting an installation location for your system, make sure it is not exposed to direct solar radiation, vibrations, heat, cold and moisture. 6.2 Additional advice before mounting Before actually mounting the alarm control centre and its components you should use a blueprint of the premises to be protected to create a plan and then record this plan, e.g. as a sketch on paper, to record how your object can be best and individually secured. Draw in the sensors of the doors, windows, rooms etc to be secured. Observe the characteristics of the individual sensors (e.g. detection angle of a movement sensor). This sketch allows you to estimate the possible materials requirements (e.g. length and lead number of cables, number of movement sensors, door/window sensors etc). 33

34 6.3 Mounting the alarm system After finding a suitable assembly site, the alarm system can be installed. The alarm system is fastened tothe wall by means of two screws. For this, the alarm system has two mounting holes (see figure to the right). When drilling, make sure you do not accidentally damage any power lines, gas pipes or water pipes. Install the alarm system with suitable mounting material (use the screws included in the delivery if required). 34

35 7. Connection After successful device installation, you can now start to connect it. Carefully take off the connection terminal cover. It is attached with two screws. After successful connection, replace the cover and re-attach the attachment screws removed first. The voltage required for operation is V/DC at the terminal clamps 7 (-) and 8 (+). Observe correct polarity in order not to damage the product! We recommend to additionally connect a (12 V, 1,2 Ah) lead battery to maintain operation in case of a power outage. For this, observe the connection example in chapter: 7.8! Activate the operational voltage only after completing all connections. 35

37 Terminal clamp 2 is the joint reference point (-) for both alarm zones. Connect the sensors with N.C. contacts in sequence, and those with N.O. contacts in parallel If no sensors with N.C contacts are used, a 10kOhm resistor (EOL) must be integrated for connection (included in the delivery). Alarm zone 2 is best suitable for sensors that are installed in the inside area (such as motion detectors), since these sensors would trigger alarm when the house is entered. An alarm is only triggered after the end of the activation delay (= 30 seconds). The alarm system can be disarmed in this period (for this, the mode selection switch at the front must be returned to the OFF position). To ensure proper sensor operation with an N.C. contact it must be ensured that every sensor with an N.C.contact has a maximum resistance of 1kOhm. 7.2 External signalling device connection A maximum of two 8 Ohm signalling devices / speakers can be connected in parallel to the terminal clamps 4 (-) and 5 (+). 38 7.3 Relay contact (N.O.) The connection terminals 6 (+) and 7 (-) are a relay contact (N.O. normally open). The relay contact can be set for timing mode or latch mode. + + This can be determined by jumper C (s. chapter 9: Jumper function) Timing Mode: The relay contact is reset 3 minutes after an alarm was triggered. Latch mode: The relay contact remains activated after an alarm was triggered, until the system is reset. Optical or acoustic signalling devices can be connected. The contact resilience of the relays is max. 12 V/DC, 5 A. Observe the applicable statutory and community provisions! In Germany, an alarm must not exceed 3 minutes (= 180 seconds). However, this time may differ in certain communities and locations (e.g. in spa towns). 38

40 7.6 Key switch connection A key switch can be connected to the terminal clamps 10 and 11. Thus, it is possible to arm or disarm the alarm system with this switch. KEYSWITCH The alarm system is disarmed when the connected contact is closed. The alarm system is armed (after the end of the exit delay = 60 seconds) when the contact is opened. Always observe that the slider on the front is in the HOME or AWAY position if the device is to be armed or disarmed with an external key switch. 7.7 External status LED connection An additional status LED be connected to the terminal clamps 5 (+) and 12. This makes it possible to recognise the alarm system s operating state from another site. 1K LED The function of the external status LED is identical with the function of the EXIT status LED on the alarm system s front. 40

42 8. Mode selector switch functions The mode selection switch is at the front of the alarm system. Use the mode selection switch to determine the three different operating modes. OFF HOME AWAY OFF HOME AWAY OFF: HOME: The complete alarm system is switched off. The door bell function is exempted from this. The alarm system is switched on and the exit delay starts (duration = 60 seconds). After the end of the exit delay, only alarm zone 1 is armed. HOME OFF AWAY AWAY: The alarm system is switched on and the exit delay starts (duration = 60 seconds). After the end of the exit delay, both alarm zones are armed. During the exit delay, the status LED EXIT flashes quickly. After the end of the exit delay, there is a short signal sound (depending on the position of jumper B). 43 9. Jumper functions The jumpers are on the PCB to the right of the connection terminal. 45 10. Commissioning and system test When the alarm system is properly installed and all connection work has been completed successfully, commissioning can be continued. For this purpose, proceed as follows: Activate the power source to supply the alarm system with operating voltage. After switching on operating voltage, a short signal sound is issued. The alarm system now requires approx. 90 seconds for initialisation. During this initialisation, the status LED EXIT flashes quickly. After the end of the initialisation stage, the status LED EXIT goes out. Set the mode selection switch to AWAY (since this switch position arms both alarm zones). The exit delay (approx. 60 seconds) commences now. During the exit delay, the status LED EXIT flashes quickly. After the end of the exit delay, a short signal sounds and then the status LED EXIT flashes slowly. The alarm system is now armed. The status LED EXIT is lit permanently when a sensor has triggered in the alarm zone (this applies if the mode selection switch is set to HOME or AWAY ). In this case, check correct connection of the sensors and whether or not the sensor is activated. Verify, e.g., whether windows and doors are closed and thus the door/window detectors connected to them are not activated. 45

An external status LED (see chapter 7.7 Connection of an External Status LED ) can also be connected to the alarm system. The external status LED has an identical function to the status LED EXIT. 49 12. Maintenance and cleaning Check the technical safety of your system regularly, e.g. for damage to the connection cables or to the casing. Regularly (1 to 2 times per month) perform a system test to ensure alarm system function. Use a clean, soft and dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discoloration of the casing. Power down the alarm system before cleaning. 13. 53 2. Utilisation conforme Ce système d alarme compact à 2 zones a spécialement été conçu pour les petits magasins, les appartements et les camping-cars. Ce système d alarme à 2 zones offrant de nombreuses possibilités d utilisation dispose de deux zones d alarme (boucles différentielles), d une sonnette de porte intégrée et d un générateur de signaux ainsi que d une DEL d état qui permet de relever facilement l état de fonctionnement. Les deux zones d alarme se distinguent par la manière dont elles sont respectivement activées. En cas d alarme, la zone d alarme 1 déclenche l alarme immédiatement et sans temporisation. En cas d alarme, la zone d alarme 2 déclenche l alarme avec une temporisation, après écoulement de la temporisation à l entrée. Les deux zones d alarme nécessitent une résistance de terminaison (anglais : EOL ; = End Of Line ; comprise dans le contenu de la livraison). Montage Durant le montage, veillez à ce que la centrale d alarme ne soit pas sous tension. 6.1 Lieu de montage du système d alarme Pour le lieu de montage du système d alarme, vous devez veiller à pouvoir accéder au système d alarme avant l écoulement de la temporisation à l entrée (en l espace de 30 secondes). En fonction du lieu de montage, il est conseillé de le sécuriser en plus à l aide d un détecteur (par ex. détecteur de mouvements). Lors du choix du lieu de montage de votre système, évitez toute exposition directe au soleil, aux vibrations, à la poussière, à la chaleur, au froid et à l humidité. 6.2 Conseils supplémentaires avant le montage Avant le montage en soi de la centrale d alarme et de ses différents composants, nous vous conseillons de faire un croquis à l aide d un plan de l objet à surveiller et de le dessiner, par ex. sur une feuille de papier, et consigner ainsi la manière dont vous pouvez garantir, de manière optimale et individuelle, la sécurité de votre objet. Dessinez-y les capteurs pour les portes, fenêtres, pièces, etc. Tenez alors compte des particularités (par ex. angle de balayage d un détecteur de mouvements) des différents capteurs. Ce croquis permet également de définir approximativement le matériel requis (par ex. longueur et nombre de brins des câbles, nombre de détecteur de mouvements et de capteurs pour les portes et fenêtres, etc.). 57
