Le départ se fera en face de l'église à 11h00 et on encourage à participer en famille. L'événement sera annoncé sur les sites Web municipaux et site de Limoges. - The Limoges Walk-a-thon will be held on October 2nd. Departure will be in front of the church at 11:00 am. and all families are urged to participate. The event will be advertized on the municipal web sites and the Limoges site. 2. Les membres acceptent la publication et on obtient l'approbation des représentants de la police provinciale. Le Comité procédera à la publication et sollicitera des bénévoles pour la patrouille, il fera aussi des demandes de fonds pour les opérations. Un Comité de surveillance sera établi. 5. Neighbourhood watch The flier containing theft prevention tips is discussed. The members accept the publication and the approval of the O.P.P. Representatives is obtained. The Committee will proceed with the publication and will research volunteers for patrols as well as funds for operations. A watch committee will be established. 6. Commission de police M. Emergency Measures There are emergency measures plans which have been produced. These can be found on the municipal Web sites. Baked bean suppers The report for August is in Annex 3 and the report for the four summer months is in Annex 4. 9. Canton de Russell Budget Il y aura une réunion publique le 20 septembre pour présenter les suggestions pour le budget au conseil. Le Comité préparera sa liste pour présenter à cette réunion. Nouveau directeur La municipalité a engagé M. Daniel Gatien comme nouveau directeur du développement économique. 9. Russell Township Budget There will be a public meeting on September 20 to present suggestions for the budget to council. The Committee will prepare a list of priorities and attend this meeting. New director The municipality has hired Mr. Daniel Gatien as the new director of economic development. 10. Municipalité de La Nation 10. Nation Municipality Budget La collecte des commentaires et informations pour le budget se fera à la fin septembre donc, le Comité devrait préparer sa liste de priorités pour Limoges bientôt. Budget The collecting of information and comments for the budget will be done at the end of September therefore, the Committee should prepare its list of priorities for Limoges soon. 3
Ancienne école (annexe) Le Comité s'inquiète de voir que la commission scolaire ne fait rien avec le lot et l'édifice qui ne sert plus. Les résidents payent des impôts pour sont entretiens et ne veulent pas répéter l'exemple de St-Bernardin ou l'école a été entretenue pendant dix ans. Old school (annexe) The Committee is worried that the School Board is not taking action with the lot and building which is no longer used. Residents pay taxes for its maintenance and do not want to repeat the St- Bernardin example where the building was maintained during ten years. 11.
