His extensive research contributions on the use of oral appliances for the treatment of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea and their effects on airway size and tongue muscle activity have been recognized worldwide. In addition, he holds Canadian, US and worldwide independent patents for three technologies related to his sleep research endeavours

6 Local Presenters CVs Dr. Ephraim Winocur DMD Senior lecturer in Orofacial Pain Coordinator, Oral Rehabilitation Department In Charge, the Orofacial Pain & TMD Clinic, The Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine, Tel-Aviv University Tel: , Cel: , Fax: Biographical Sketch: After graduating from Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Dr. Efraim Winocur moved on to serve in numerous faculty positions at the Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine, including chairman of the teacher-students committee, and many other academic committees. He is a judge in the Disciplinary Appeal Court of the Israel Dental Association, as well as the presidentelect of the European Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders, the immediate past president of the Israeli Society of Orofacial Pain, and a past president of the Israeli division of the IADR, and of the Tel Aviv Chapter of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He is licensed in Medical Hypnosis by the Israeli Health Ministry. Dr. Winocur has presented numerous papers in national and international scientific meetings. Dr. Efraim Winocur has supervised over 35 students for their DMD or PhD thesis, has edited a book on Dental Morphology, wrote numerous chapters in scientific books as well as in scientific peer journals.

7 Dr. Eyal Rosenzweig M.D, PhD. Dr. Eyal Rosenzweig graduated the Timisuara School of medicine on He is employed since 1990 at the Shiba medical center Tel Hashomer Israel first as a junior physician at the department of E.N.T & Head & Neck surgery. On 1995 he graduated the E.N.T & Head & Neck program at the Tel- Hashomer medical center and continued as a Senior Physician at the same department with main field of interest at nasal and paranasal sinus surgery. Since the year of 2000 Dr. Rosenzweig is engaged in the subject of sleep medicine and the conservative and surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea of adults and children. Dr. Rosenzweig is a senior physician at the Institute of sleep and fatigue medicine at the Tel Hashomer medical center and is member of the society of E.N.T. & Head & Neck surgery of Israel, the Society of Sleep Medicine of Israel.
