4 4-5 The ISG International School of Business The Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG), one of Europe s leading business schools, was founded as a non-profit organization in 1967 by a group of prominent French corporate executives. ISG has a long record of educational innovation, using Anglo-Saxon methods of higher education and molding them to fit international needs. 18,600 graduates (2,500 from the International programs) hold positions of authority in some of the largest multinational firms in over 60 countries. More than 60% of the graduates from the International Programs have obtained positions of international stature and 13% have created their own companies. A multicultural environment Our approach to education in the International Bachelor program is based upon the desire to provide a multicultural environment which fosters intellectual development. 80% of our students come from more than 100 different countries and our Alumni association holds more than 18,000 members worldwide. Language of Instruction All courses are given in English, the international language of business. French students have the option of taking 1st year core courses in French to better integrate into the program. Students graduate with a double diploma ISG/University of Wales. This diploma helps them access an international career. 11 Internship During the International Bachelor program, students must do a 6-month internship in France or abroad. ISG helps students find their internship opportunity, considered to be an important part of this program. The work done will be presented to a jury as a report and will be evaluated. Coincidently this was the department that was having the most issues and that required the most work. Additionally, I arrived at the time of a new product launch that required extensive preparation and an excellent opportunity for me to watch learn and apply. My academic education taught me to use my knowledge and apply my skills whenever necessary. During my internship not only did I perfect my Italian, I improved my Marketing and Communication techniques. I was asked to prepare and present power point presentations, to brainstorm ideas for advertising claims and communication letters to clients. In the end, I was able to help the marketing department think of solutions for their problems.

12 12-13 Study Abroad Students in the Bachelor s program can spend a semester abroad. ISG has partnership agreements with many universities worldwide, allowing students to broaden their cultural horizon in a foreign country. 14 14-15 ISG s Programme Grande École - International Track The accent is distinctly on the international aspect of this program. The second-year courses in Paris are exclusively in English. And a semester must be devoted to doing an internship abroad. The entire third year of study will take place in a Anglophone partner university in either the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Students do their specialization in these partner universities and complete a double diploma. Students in the International Track complete an export project for a French company during their studies abroad. When back in Paris, students are coached by HR consultants to help them get back into the job market. L accent est résolument mis sur l international dans ce parcours. Les enseignements délivrés à Paris en 2e année sont en anglais. Et un semestre de stage à l étranger doit être effectué. Les étudiants de l International Track mènent également à bien un projet export pour le compte d une entreprise française durant leurs semestres d études à l étranger. à leur retour à Paris, les étudiants sont accompagnés par des consultants en ressources humaines, afin de faciliter leur insertion professionnelle. ISG s International MBA The International MBA is a one-year program and comprises all subjects related to Management. Students choosing this option primarily are seeking to either give their career a boost or to change their career track. Bachelor diploma holders wishing to access the International MBA must have completed a year s internship, so as to have acquired some professional experience.
