4 Ce guide vous aidera à planifier et à organiser votre séjour à Louvain-la-Neuve comme étudiant d échange ou international à la Faculté d ingénierie biologique, agronomique et environnementale. L information que vous y trouverez concerne les démarches à effectuer avant votre arrivée et celles indispensables à faire au début de votre séjour pour que votre séjour soit réussi. Le guide est divisé en deux parties : 1. la première contient toutes les informations nécessaires avant votre arrivée ; 2. la deuxième est consacrée aux démarches à faire au moment de votre arrivée. Avant votre arrivée 1 Dès que vous avez été sélectionné par votre institution, envoyez votre demande d autorisation de séjour d échange à laquelle seront joints les documents suivants: le document «Student Application Form» complété et signé par votre Institution une attestation de sélection établie par votre Institution un certificat attestant de votre niveau de connaissance de la langue française une lettre de motivation copie de votre passeport ou carte d identité votre curriculum vitae vos relevés de notes relatives à vos années d études antérieures 5 photos d identité couleur (originales et sur fond blanc) une copie de votre assurance médicale votre contrat d études ECTS ou Learning agreement, complété et signé par vous et par le coordinateur académique de votre institution (un quadrimestre = 30 ECTS) Ces documents sont à renvoyer à : Université catholique de Louvain Faculté d Ingénierie biologique, agronomique et environnementale Cellule internationale c/o Mme Stéphanie Hansen Croix du Sud, 2 Bte 1 L B-1348 Louvain-la-Neuve - Belgique mobilite-agro@uclouvain.be Téléphone: Fax: Rappel Date limite pour s inscrire -le 1 er mai pour le premier quadrimestre qui commence à la mi-septembre ou pour l année complète -le 1 er novembre pour le deuxième quadrimestre qui débute fin janvier. 2 Autorisation d inscription Dès que votre dossier aura été complété et approuvé par le coordinateur académique, la cellule mobilité transmettra votre dossier au «Service des inscriptions» qui vous enverra «l Autorisation d inscription UCL» à votre adresse privée. Soyez donc attentif à l adresse indiquée sur vos documents. 3 Réserver votre logement Dès que votre dossier aura été accepté, la Faculté vous fera parvenir un document à renvoyer au service des logements de l Université dans les meilleurs délais : N hésitez pas à consulter le site pour trouver les différentes formules de logement possibles : Ou encore 4 Connaissance de la langue française Pour réussir votre échange, une bonne connaissance de la langue française est requise. 5

6 5 Check list des documents à apporter avec vous - votre carte d identité ou votre passeport, - trois photos d identité en couleur, - l autorisation d inscription de l UCL, - l attestation de l'université d'origine prouvant que les études à l'ucl se réalisent dans le cadre d'une convention d'échange Erasmus (ou une copie certifiée conforme), - la preuve de votre assurance médicale soins de santé. L'étudiant d'échange doit être couvert par une assurance soins de santé valable en Belgique. La preuve lui en sera demandée lors de l'inscription (formulaire E 111,...). De par son inscription au rôle à l'ucl, il est couvert pour les accidents corporels qui surviendraient dans le cadre strict de ses activités académiques. 2. A votre arrivée à Louvain-la-Neuve 1 Pour rejoindre Louvain-la-Neuve Par avion Vous pouvez atterrir à Bruxelles (Zaventem) ou à Charleroi (Bruxelles Sud). Vous devrez alors prendre le train vers Louvain-la-Neuve (attention ne pas prendre direction Leuven) ou encore prendre un taxi de l'aéroport de Bruxelles (Zaventem) à Louvain-la-Neuve qui pourrait vous coûter environ 80! Pour le train, il s agit d un train intercity (IC) direction Ottignies avec un changement à Bruxelles Nord. A Ottignies, vous devrez prendre un train vers Louvain-la-Neuve Université (10min). Vous pouvez aussi prendre un train (IR) avec plus d arrêts mais sans changement à Ottignies. Si vous arrivez à Bruxelles SUD (Aéroport de Charleroi), un bus vous amènera à la gare de Charleroi et ensuite vous prendrez le train vers Louvain-la-Neuve. En voiture Depuis Bruxelles, prendre l'autoroute E 411 Bruxelles Namur. Quitter à la sortie 8 a. Arrivé au rond-point situé sur la Nationale 4, prendre la troisième sortie du rond-point. Pour rejoindre la Faculté d ingénierie biologique, agronomique et environnementale suivre les flèches indiquant «Biéreau» jusqu'au rond point suivant. Là, prenez à droite vers le boulevard Baudouin 1er. Ensuite au rond point suivant prenez la 1ère rue à droite (Avenue du Jardin Botanique), ensuite prenez directement la première rue à droite (Avenue Th. Schwann) et garez votre véhicule sur le Parking P20. Continuez à pied en suivant les flèches «Faculté d ingénierie biologique, agronomique et environnementale» qui est située dans le bâtiment Mendel. 2 Premières démarches à faire Vous rendre au bureau international de la Faculté et prévenir de votre arrivée Rappel : Le bureau est situé dans le Bâtiment Mendel-C-1 local C

7 Contacter le service logement ou l agence immobilière selon le cas pour organiser votre logement (voir adresse et heure d ouverture plus loin) Vous rendre aux «Halles universitaires» - au Secrétariat des inscriptions - auprès de Mme Chantal Manga, Place de l Université, 1 - pour vous inscrire. Cette étape est obligatoire. Vous devrez fournir : - votre contrat de location signé pour votre logement - l autorisation d inscription UCL que vous avez reçue chez vous - la preuve de votre assurance soin de santé.* NB* La mutuelle est une assurance pour les soins de santé qui rembourse une partie des frais médicaux et pharmaceutiques. Toute personne qui vit en Belgique doit être couverte par une assurance «soins de santé». Il est donc indispensable de vous renseigner dans votre pays d origine pour savoir si votre assureur couvre vos frais médicaux en Belgique. Dans le cas contraire, vous vous présentez à la mutuelle de votre choix muni du certificat délivré par l UCL. Les heures d ouverture sont Le lundi de 13h30 à 16h Du mardi au jeudi de 10h à 12h30 et de 13h30 à 16h Le vendredi de 10h à 12h30. Vous inscrire à la commune Si votre logement est à Louvain-la-Neuve, il faudra vous rendre à l Administration communale pour vous y inscrire et qui est située Grand Place 2-3. Vous devrez vous munir de: - votre passeport ou la carte d identité - 4 photos d identité en couleur - votre contrat de location de votre logement - la preuve d affiliation à une mutuelle - du certificat d inscription à l UCL Les heures d ouverture sont le lundi de à et du mardi au vendredi de 8.30 à Ces 3 étapes sont indispensables avant d entamer votre séjour à l UCL. NB Si vous arrivez le WE ou le soir en dehors des heures de bureau, vous pouvez contacter un numéro de portable 24/24 : Votre programme d étude Lors de votre inscription, vous recevez un numéro d identification appelé «noma» ainsi qu une carte d accès et un identifiant qui vous donneront accès à votre bureau virtuel et à des informations importantes sur la vie en faculté, l horaire des cours, accès à i-campus,. Chaque étudiant inscrit à l UCL dispose automatiquement d un «bureau virtuel» sur le portail de l UCL; on parle de «Compte utilisateur global UCL». Ce bureau vous permet d avoir accès à un ensemble de services dont l accès gratuit, et à distance, aux banques de données auxquelles l UCL est abonnée. Comment l utiliser? Commencez par une visite virtuelle : La première démarche est d activer votre bureau pour pouvoir l utiliser. 1. Vous recevrez par courrier postal, une carte d accès dès que votre inscription au service des inscriptions est en ordre. Sur la carte d accès figure le numéro FGS utile pour l activation du bureau. 7

8 2. Vous allez également recevoir de la part du Service des inscriptions, un identifiant et un mot de passe. 3. Dès réception de votre carte et de l identifiant, il vous est demandé d activer votre bureau virtuel à l adresse suivante : A cette même adresse, il vous est possible de changer de mot de passe ou de retrouver votre mot de passe en cas d oubli. Attention : l activation n est pas automatique Votre bureau virtuel va devenir une nouvelle référence dans votre vie d étudiant. Nous vous conseillons de vous familiariser à cet outil le plus rapidement possible. Il vous permettra : - d accéder à votre boîte mail UCL ; - d accéder à I-campus et de vous y inscrire ; - de consulter les valves électroniques - d accéder à votre parcours universitaire (résultats, ) ; - d accéder aux répertoires des étudiants et du personnel de l UCL ; - de vous inscrire aux examens ; - de suivre l actualité de l UCL et la vie à l UCL ; Attention Votre inscription aux cours est faite par la responsable de la cellule internationale sur base de votre contrat d études. Vous devrez aussi confirmer votre programme d études auprès de la responsable de la cellule mobilité: dès que possible. 9 Les examens Les cours sont répartis sur deux quadrimestres et 3 sessions d examens sont organisées: janvier, juin et septembre. L étudiant choisit les examens auxquels il souhaite se présenter à chacune des trois sessions. La présentation des examens fait l objet d une inscription aux examens en Faculté via le bureau virtuel. Il faut savoir qu un même examen ne peut être présenté plus de deux fois au cours de la même année académique. L étudiant d échange s inscrira à tous les examens des cours qu il a suivis durant son quadrimestre. En cas d échec, il pourra présenter une seconde fois cet examen. 4 Informations pratiques sur la vie et séjour en Belgique - Monnaie et types de paiement En Belgique, l unité monétaire est l euro. Pour la durée de votre séjour, il est utile d ouvrir un compte dans la banque de votre choix (condition: être inscrit à l UCL et à la commune). - Physionomie du pays et climat La Belgique a une superficie de km 2 et compte dix millions d habitants. Le climat est tempéré et très variable. La température varie entre +12 C et +30 C (été) et 15 C et + 15 C (hiver). Il est conseillé d emporter des vêtements chauds, des vêtements imperméables, des vêtements légers et des chaussures fermées. - Coût de la vie L étudiant doit donc s assurer, avant son départ, qu il dispose bien des moyens financiers nécessaires pour séjourner en Belgique. A titre indicatif, voici quelques informations relatives au coût de la vie en Belgique (montants calculés pour une période de 12 mois) : l'achat de livres et de matériel (500 ) frais de logement (2.380 ) l'alimentation (2.250 ) assurance santé et frais médicaux (370 ) si nécessaire loisirs (520 ) vêtements (370 ) divers (370 ) L alimentation en Belgique La cuisine belge est variée et relativement bien équilibrée. En toute saison, on peut facilement trouver fruits et légumes les plus divers, y compris les produits exotiques, venant du monde entier. Sur le site de Louvain-la-Neuve, il existe de nombreux magasins et supermarchés pour vous approvisionner. Un marché a lieu tous les mardis et samedis. Les restaurants universitaires proposent des repas complets à partir de Services publics et privés: heures d ouverture - Commerces: de nombreux commerces sont installés sur le site; vous y trouverez des magasins d alimentation, de vêtements, de cadeaux, de presses, des librairies, des papeteries, etc Ils sont, en général, ouverts à partir de 8h00 ou 10h00 jusqu à 19h00; ils sont fermés le dimanche. - Banques: plusieurs banques ont une agence sur le site et permettent l ouverture de comptes, de transactions, etc. Elles sont ouvertes du lundi au vendredi entre 9h00 et 15h00. 9

10 - Cafés, restaurants: ils sont nombreux sur le site et sont très variés. Les cafés sont généralement ouverts de 8h00 du matin à 1h00 du matin et les restaurants de 11h00 à 24h00. Déplacements Louvain-la-Neuve s est structurée en différents quartiers d habitation. Tout le centre de la ville est piétonnier mais des accès en voiture y ont été aménagés en souterrain. Des liaisons en train ou en bus sont possibles à partir de Louvain-la-Neuve vers d autres villes. Un service de navette permet de se déplacer entre le site de Louvain-la-Neuve et celui de Bruxelles où se trouver la Faculté de médecine. Eau/Electricité L eau est potable partout, sauf indications contraires. Le courant est de 220 volts. Culte A Louvain-la-Neuve, vous trouverez non seulement une paroisse catholique mais aussi une mosquée, une communauté protestante et orthodoxe. Quelques coutumes Les us et coutumes varient d un pays à l autre, en voici quelques-uns valables en Belgique: - Les prix affichés sont des prix fixes - Si un rendez-vous est fixé à une heure précise (par exemple 10h30), il est important de s y présenter à l heure précise - Les jours fériés (congé légal et fermeture) sont: 1 er janvier Lundi de Pâques 1 er mai Jeudi de l Ascension Lundi de Pentecôte 21 juillet (fête nationale) 15 août 27 septembre (fête de la communauté française de Belgique) 1 er novembre 11 novembre 25 décembre La Faculté n est pas responsable des changements susceptibles de se produire en ce qui concerne les dates et montants repris dans le document. Before your arrival Term 1: Courses start from mid-september till Christmas Exams in January (registration in November) Term 2: Courses start from end of January till mid-may Exams in June (registration end of March) Admission and registration of exchange students are organized by the Faculty. The Faculty will only accept students from Universities with a pre-established exchange agreement. Once you have been selected by your home Institution, you have to send to the International Office of the Bioingeneering Faculty the following documents: o o o o o o o o A copy of your passport or ID Card where your nationality appears clearly; Your ECTS Learning Agreement completed and signed by yourself and the academic coordinator of your home institution; Your transcript of records of all the previous years of Higher Education; Three (3) passport size color pictures (originals with white background); A copy of your Health Insurance A Motivation letter Your Curriculum Vitae The Bulletin d inscription (Registration form) duly completed and signed For non EU student only, a recent chest X-Ray certificate with date and doctor s name is also required. Once the Agro International Office has received all the documents, it will be checked and forwarded to the UCL Central Registar Office (Service des Inscriptions) which will then send you your UCL Autorisation d inscription letter or letter of acceptance, at the address mentioned on your registration form. This letter of acceptance can also be used for visa application if necessary. 15 Housing There are several possibilities to find housing in Louvain-la-Neuve. The best way to participate in student life is to live on the campus itself. Indeed, Louvain-la-Neuve is an unusual pedestrian campus with more than students and inhabitants. Due to housing constraints, we strongly advise all the students to reserve their room well in advance through the UCL housing service (Service des Logements). Indeed, all the student rooms are assigned on a first come-first served basis, so it is in your own interest to send your housing request form as soon as possible! Student housing in Louvain-la-Neuve Living in a kot «Kot» is a Dutch word meaning junk room. Nowadays it is used in all parts of Belgium for student flats. It consists of single bedroom with common areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom(s) /shower(s), toilet(s). A kot can be pre-reserved in advance through the UCL Service des Logements (UCL housing service) or through private real estate agencies or owners. A UCL kot is usually less expensive than other accommodation (cost: 225 to 350 /month). Most of the rooms are on campus or in the neighbourhoods. Living in a kot means living with other students which helps to get in contact with others. Usually most of the roommates are French speaking Belgians, which will help you improve your French even if most of the Belgians understand and speak English as well. The cleaning service comes once a week and cleans all the surfaces of common rooms. Kot à projet (KAP) In a KAP you will share a common interest with your housemates and work on a small project during your exchange period. All KAP are supervised by the university. Those rooms must also be reserved through the Service des Logements (UCL housing service). The Collège International Timothy Radcliffe Rue René Magritte 7, (in front of the EPHEC building), offers rooms for exchange students for one semester. Contact: college.radcliffe@gmail.com Living in a family If you want to live in a family on the campus, the UCL housing service can also provide a list of private owners. 16 Temporary accommodation If your room is not available at your arrival, you can stay at Kot Erasmus UCL student association is a Kot-a-projets (KAP) that aims at bringing together Exchange students and Belgian students. Besides welcoming the Erasmus students and offering a large number of activities throughout the academic year, it also offers temporary accommodation upon your arrival: koterasmus@gmail.com - Place des Paniers 1 Tel. +32 (0) Hotel Mercure The Hotel Mercure is located just outside Louvain-la-Neuve, Boulevard de Lauzelle 61, about a minutes walk from the city center. H2200@accor-hotels.com. Piano II Grand Route Corbais, N4 between Wavre and Gembloux - Motorway E411 Exit 9, Tel: +32 (0) ; Fax: +32 (0) Other possibilities are youth hostels in the country. The nearest hostel would be in Brussels or Namur (search for auberge de jeunesse ). You can also find announcements from private owners. Furniture If you chose housing in a UCL kot, your room will be furnished. Normally they are all equipped with a wardrobe, a table, a chair, a bed with a mattress and, in most cases, with a sink. Linen are not provided but you can rent a bed-kit, at the UCL Housing Service. Families normally provide furnished rooms as well. In a private room, furniture is not necessarily provided ask the landlord or the previous tenant about it. Language of Instruction Teaching at UCL is predominantly in French. A good knowledge of French is therefore required. However, before your arrival, you can enrol for a French class at the CLL (private Language school on the campus). During the semester, you can take French Language Courses at the ILV Institut des Langues vivantes, UCL Language School. Documents you need to bring with you: - Valid passport or identity card; - Passport photos - Exchange student certificate issued by your home institution ; - Letter of Acceptance; - Exchange students must be covered by a health insurance policy which is valid for Belgium. Proof of this policy will be requested (European health card, form E-111 or proof of private insurance). How to reach Louvain-la-Neuve a. By plane Be careful where you plane is landing : at Bruxelles (Zaventem) or at Charleroi (Bruxelles Sud airport)!! a taxi from the airport to Louvain-la-Neuve will cost you between 55 and 80! 16

17 b. By train c. By car from Brussels: take the highway E411 in direction of Namur and Luxembourg take exit 8a marked "Louvain-la-Neuve". At the roundabout on the National 4, take the direction Biéreau, at the next roundabout - direction Biéreau : you are on the Boulevard Baudouin 1er from Namur: take the highway E411 towards Brussels take exit 9 marked 'Corroy-le-Grand/Louvain-la-Neuve' turn left towards the N4 when you reach the N4 turn right on to it at the second roundabout take the direction Biéreau or Bruyères you are on the Boulevard Baudouin 1er Then at the first roundabout take on your right (Avenue du Jardin Botanique), take immediately the first street on your right and park on Parking P20 and continue by foot following the indications Secrétariat de la Faculté d ingénierie biologique, agronomique et environnementale» located in the building Mendel. In Louvain-la-Neuve, everything is at your fingertips. You walk on foot far from the stress of circulation and from traffic congestion. You are never more than 10 minutes away from your classroom, the shopping center or the sports center. The Faculties, Institutes, Technology Platforms and Administrative Services are mainly situated in the city center and in the neighborhoods of Biéreau and Hocaille. Map of Louvain-la-Neuve 17

18 2. Information about your stay Upon your arrival 1. You should contact the administrative coordinator asap : Croix du Sud, 2 L , 1348 Louvain-la- Neuve, Mendel Building, ground floor, room C Then you should go to the Registar office (Service des inscriptions) in Louvain-la-Neuve in order to register at the university: Mrs Chantal Manga Service des Inscriptions Place de l Université, Louvain-la-Neuve At that time, you must have with you the following documents: 1. a valid passport or identity card (non-european Union citizens should be in possession of a visa); 2. the UCL acceptance letter /"Autorisation d'inscription"; 3. a proof of health insurance (European health card, form E-111 or a private insurance certificate); 4. passport pictures 3. Housing Once you have done step 1 and 2, you should go the Housing service in order to arrange for your accommodation. NB If you arrive in the evening, on a weekend or outside office hours, you may contact the following mobile phone number open 24 hours a day: This service is organised by the General Co-ordination Service for Foreign Students at UCL, the "Coordination Générale des Etudiants Etrangers (CGEE). They will act as a first contact and will help you to find temporary accommodation if needed. See also above the other temporary accommodation possibilities. 18

The exams The University organizes 3 exams periods: January, June and September. During the third exam session, the student can re-sit exams for those subjects he or she has not yet obtained a satisfactory result (< 10/20) or for which he or she has not yet taken the exam. Each exam however can only be taken twice during the year. At the end of your stay, a Transcript of records will be sent to the International Coordinator of your home institution. This document is exclusively for academic recognition of courses taken at UCL by the home university. c. Computer facilities Student card, Access card After your registration at UCL, you will get: o Student Card This card will enable you to register at the sports centre, and to get a discount at the cinema, shops, travel expenses if you are under 26 years old (train, etc.). o Access Card (Carte d accès) and UCL address This card enables you to enter the libraries and the computer rooms after the closing time in the building Mendel. 19

20 To use your personnal Account and UCL address, you must: Activate your personal account on the UCL intranet ( mon bureau ), absolutely essential for the good organisation of your term at the LSM. You will receive information on how to proceed at the welcome information meeting. It will allow you to receive information (concerning courses, exams, etc.) via the Valves électroniques (Electronic notice board). Register on I-Campus which is the online learning platform and through which you will receive information from the professors concerning their course. Please note that it is NOT your official registration to courses/exams. As written above, the official course registration is only done through the course/exam registration form that can be found at the international office. Check regularly the student UCL- address as you will receive all information via that address only. Life in Belgium : general information a. Money The money used in Belgium is the Euro. You can open an account in a Belgian bank. We suggest you to have your bank send a given sum to one of the banks in Louvain-la-Neuve with your name and passport number. b. Facts about Belgium Belgium is a small country (30539 km²) with a population of slightly over 10 million. It has been a constitutional monarchy since Belgium has a maritime climate, strongly influenced by the sea. As a consequence, the fog and the rain are common here, as well as weak falls of snow in winter. The most pleasant months spread out from June to September. d. Cost of living - A campus room: approximately from 250 to 350 per month - Food: approximately 250 per month - Books and class material: approximately 250 per term e. Food in Belgium Belgian cooking is varied. In all seasons, you can find fruits and vegetables, also exotic ones coming from all over the world. On the campus of Louvain-la-Neuve, there are a lot of shops and supermarkets. An open-air market takes place every Tuesday and Saturday. A Mall (shopping center called L Esplanade ) is located near the city center. The university restaurants (Le Galilée and Le Sablon) offer a complete meal for about f. Public and private offices - Shops: you can find a lot of different shops on the campus : food, clothes, gifts, newspapers, libraries, Most of them are opened from 8:00 or 10:00 AM until 17h00 PM from Monday to Saturday; they are closed on Sunday. - Banks: you can find different banks on the campus where you can open an account and make transactions. Most banks are opened from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from Monday to Friday. - Cafés and restaurants: there are plenty of them on the campus. Most of the cafés are open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM; the restaurants are generally open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 20

21 g. Transportation Louvain-la-Neuve is a pedestrian city. So, no need of public transportation to get around. If you want to travel outside Louvain-la-Neuve, you can use trains or buses h) Water and electricity Water is drinkable everywhere. If not, it will be indicated Eau non potable. Electric current is 220 volts. i) Religion Belgium is a predominantly Roman Catholic country. However in Louvain-la-Neuve, you will be able to find Prayer Houses from all faiths. j) Ways and customs of Belgium Ways and customs are different from a country to another. In Belgium: - Prices cannot be discussed - If you have an appointment at o clock, it is important to be on time - Public holidays are : New Year (January 1) Easter Monday Labour Day (May 1) Ascension Day Whit-Monday Independence Day (July 21) Assumption Day (August 15) September 27 All Saints' Day (November 1) Armistice Day (November 11) Christmas Day (December 25) The University is closed between Christmas and New Year. Students have about 10 days for study around Christmas, one week off after the exams in January, 2 weeks at Easter Cultural life For gathering information about working and cultural life in Louvain-la-Neuve, again the guide urbain pour étudiants is of a big help. You will also get information on different events on the campus. Louvain-la- Neuve has a theatre the Jean Vilar, located Place Rabelais. A magnet for the students is the Lundi de la guitare ; an evening, where students can perform playing their guitar or keyboard and use their singing skills. 21

22 Cercles/régionales «KAP» organises a lot of social events such as child cares, collections for social issues and cultural events. Among the KAP s, there are specific ones called cercles and régionales. Cercles are groups of students from the same faculty and having the same interests. Regionales gather students from the living areas and share same interest for the region. Most of them organised «rites» called «baptêmes» for students who wish to become an official member. This included games and usually drinking. All Cercles/Régionales have their own bar or headquarters, where they sell beer and other beverages. The prices are very moderate, as the Cercles/Régionales don t have any commercial interest. If you want to go out, it is a must to pass by a Cercle/Régionale and see the Louvain-la-Neuve student life. However; it can be dirty and a lot of alcohol can be involved; so we recommend you not to go there in your evening dress! Sport center The LLN "centre sportif", also called ADEPS, is one of the biggest sport center in Belgium. It is located in the Hocaille neighbourhood, 10 minutes walk from Louvain-la-Neuve town centre. There is also a swimming pool. The first weeks of the semester, you have free entrance so you can try any sport. Once you have decided to pursue your sport activities, you will need to purchase a sport card for 45 /semester that will give free access to most activities and certainly to the swimming pool at specific time.
