NOTE DE LIBÉRATION TECHNIQUE DE OmniPCX Enterprise 1. INTRODUCTION Ce document décrit la libération technique de l'omnipcx Enterprise Release 8.0. La Release 8.0 (version G1.302.5) est une version majeure. Les cursus de certification ont été modifiés par l'abpp depuis la Release 6.2. Ils sont disponibles sur BPWS sous Formation et Certification > Formation > Après-vente > Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise > Version 8.0. Il faut s'assurer que toutes les versions des applications existantes sont compatibles avec la Release 8.0 ; se reporter aux paragraphes 4, 5 et 6 de la communication technique TC0943 Procédure de mise en service de la version G1.302.5 Release 8.0. 2. NOUVEAUTÉS MATÉRIELLES ET LOGICIELLES DISPONIBLES À PARTIR DE LA RELEASE 8.0 2.1 Présentation Cette version fonctionne avec le système d'exploitation Linux 53.1 et supporte les plateformes matérielles hardware crystal et hardware commun (matériel commun avec OmniPCX Office). Elle permet au Call Server de fonctionner avec les cartes CPU6 Step2 128 Mo, CPU7 256 Mo, CPU7-2 256 Mo du crystal hardware, CPU Call Server, Appliance Server IBM (X306, X306M et X3250) et Appliance Server Hewlett Packard Proliant DL320 G5. Elle permet également au Call Server de fonctionner avec des Lames IBM intégrées dans un Blade Center. Elle autorise une mixité de hardware (hardware commun et hardware crystal). Depuis la Release 5.1, la migration de l'omnipcx 4400 vers OmniPCX Enterprise est supportée, mais certaines applications et certains matériels ne sont plus supportés (il y aura donc des restrictions dans le cas de migration 4400 vers la R8.0 ; se reporter aux chapitres 5, 6 et 7 de la communication technique TC0943 Procédure de mise en service de la version G1.302.5 Release 8.0.
