ÉDITO / EDITO Cher(e)s Ami(e)s, Cher(e)s Collègues, En devenant PARIS-ECHO, le congrès bisannuel de la Filiale Echocardiographie de la SFC a marqué sa volonté d intégration de l ensemble des techniques d imagerie cardiovasculaire non invasive : échographie, scintigraphie, scanner, PETscanner et IRM. s inscrira dans cette continuité avec des adaptations en rapport avec vos remarques et vos attentes. Le thème du congrès sera : «L Imagerie multimodalité en pratique clinique». Au niveau européen, la fusion des différents groupes d imagerie cardiovasculaire a transformé l Association Européenne d Echocardiographie (EAE) en Association Européenne d Imagerie Cardiovasculaire (EACVI). De fait, la constitution de groupes d imagerie multimodalité au sein des Sociétés savantes nationales semble une évolution naturelle, fortement encouragée par l EACVI. Le rapprochement en cours entre la Filiale Echocardiographie et le Groupe Scintigraphie- IRM cardiaque de la SFC va dans ce sens. Ce rapprochement nous permettra de répondre de manière cohérente aux préoccupations des cardiologues cliniciens concernant l utilisation quotidienne de l ensemble des techniques d imagerie cardiovasculaire. Comme pour la précédente édition, le programme scientifique de s organisera autour de 5 thématiques qui seront les fils conducteurs pour votre parcours : 1. Techniques d Imagerie Cardiovasculaire Multimodalité 2. Valvulopathies, Prothèses Valvulaires, Endocardite 3. Cardiomyopathies, Insuffisance Cardiaque, Sportif, HTA 4. Cardiopathie Ischémique, Échographie de Stress, Péricarde, Urgences Cardiologiques 5. Aorte Thoracique, Cardiopathies Congénitales, Cœur Droit Chaque thème sera identifié dans le programme par un code couleur pour une meilleure lisibilité, afin que chacun puisse se fabriquer un programme «sur mesure». L ensemble du Comité d organisation et le Comité scientifique de souhaitent que ce 21 ème congrès puisse répondre à toutes vos attentes. Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues, The biennial congress of the SFC s Echocardiography group transforms for its next edition, bringing together all techniques associated with non invasive cardiovascular imaging: ultrasound, scintigraphy, scanner, PETscanner, MRI. The program of the newly named congress will reflect this evolution, which has come about as a result of your observations. The overall theme of the congress is Multimodality imaging in clinical practice. At a European level, a number of imaging groups have merged, and the European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) has been renamed the European Association of Cardiovascular Imagery (EACVI). It is a natural progression for the national societies to follow the example of establishing multimodality imagery groups, strongly encouraged by the EACVI. With a similar strategy, the work of the Echocardiography and Scintigraphy-MRI groups of the SFC is becoming more aligned. This new synergy will allow us to tackle coherently the concerns of clinical cardiologists relative to the daily application of the many techniques in cardiovascular imaging. As in previous edition, the scientific program of will be organised around the five following sub-themes, providing a common thread for your participation: 1. Cardiovascular Multimodality Imaging techniques 2. Valvular diseases, protheses, endocarditis 3. Cardiomyopathies, Heart Failure, Athletes, Hypertension 4.
