2 PRESENTATION DE F4E L organisation de l Union Européenne pour le développement de l énergie de fusion F4E est un organisme public établi en 2007 pour une durée de 35 ans Siège : Barcelone, Espagne Bureaux : Cadarache, France Garching, Allemagne Effectif : 400 (dans l industrie, la science, ) Entreprises : plus de 3000 Budget: 6.6 milliards d euros quasi 6 milliards d euros pour la construction du projet ITER 2

3 QUELLE EST LA MISSION DE F4E? Développer la fusion au travers de 3 projets: F4E est responsable de la contribution européenne à ITER, le plus important projet mondial autour de l énergie F4E collabore avec le Japon sur plusieurs projets dans le domaine de fusion appelés Broader Approach F4E préparera un programme pour le développement de la prochaine génération de réacteurs de fusion de démonstration 3

4 POURQUOI INVESTIR DANS LA FUSION? L énergie de fusion apportera une contribution majeure au mix énergétique mondial F4E est engagé dans les projets majeurs sur le développement de la fusion en tant que source d énergie future ITER est le plus important projet autour de l énergie impliquant la moitié de la population mondiale La technologie de fusion offre de vastes opportunités à l industrie, les laboratoires de recherche et les PME 4
