Fredericton /St. Andrews/St. George: Members of UEW ''Just for the health of it'' will be giving away apple and orange slices to members along with information on healthy workplaces. Newfoundland and Labrador St. John's: Members of CEIU at Mews Place Demo of 19 minutes beginning at 12 p.m. St. John's: John Cabot Building - Multi Component - Members of UVAE 90002, UNE 90350, UNE 99242, GSU and UCTE at the John Cabot Building will provide information to members and signing support for the bargaining teams and guest speakers 12:00-12:19 at the main entrance. St. John's: Members of UNDE local Invitation for other locals/unions in the area to join them on the Boulevard in front of the DND building at noon for 19 minutes. St. John's: Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Center - UEW locals and 90002, PIPSC and the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) will continue to do their 19 minute walk at lunchtime wearing their sick leave t-shirts. Gander: Gander Area Council to organize a walk inviting all unions to take part. Details to follow. Labrador City: Members of UCTE Hawaii in Labrador - Members will be in Hawaii gear and safety equipment in -45 and snow! Nova Scotia Halifax: Members of UTE will be organizing a rally at noon on March 18 (UTE only) at the Ralston building and wearing their Union t-shirts. (Come join the band!) Halifax: Members of USGE are planning a plantgate at the gates of Springhill institution from 7 AM to 8:30 AM. UCCO members will be joining them. Halifax: Members of UNDE 80406, UNDE 80409, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), the Federal Government Dockyard Trades and Labour Council and PIPSC will be holding a 19 minutes demo at lunch time in the parking besides the parking spaces they now pay for. Sydney: Members of UTE will wear their Union t-shirts and take a group photo in support of the bargaining team on March 18 (UTE only) at noon at 47 Dorchester Street. Dartmouth: Members of UVAE will be donning Togas and celebrating ''The Ides of March''. In addition to cups of grape juice from wine decanters they will be passing out easter eggs as they do a walkabout during the morning at 40 Aldnerney Drive. Berwick: Members of AGR will send s to MP Gregg Kerr or gather outside for 19 minutes with a sign. Greedwood: Members of UNDE will be having hot dogs with the entire local around a snowbank with the number 19 prominently in the background. Prince Edward Island: Summerside: Members of UTE already called their members to update their contact information and inform them of the activity taking place on the 18th (UTE only). They will be wearing their Union t-shirt and a brief presentation at noon (for the day shift) and 6 p.m. (for the evening shift) in front of the building. Summerside & Charlottetown: Members of CEIU & will have picket signs at the entrance of the workplace. Charlottetown: Members of UTE will organize a plantgate on the morning of the 18th (UTE only) and will be handing out a mug that will read Bargaining's brewing, no beans about it. Charlottetown: Members of CEIU and CEIU (Montague) will have picket signs at the entrance of the workplace. These are to be worn on the days of action each month on the 19th with a view to becoming more visible. 248 McArthur Road - CEIU Local will be distributing "Healthy Workplace" materials and hand sanitizer Beacon Hill Shopping Center - CEIU Local 00603: Members are organizing a short rally in front of the shopping center where they have a Service Canada Office. This will be done outside of working hours because of the staggered lunch breaks to ensure no disruption of customer service St. Laurent Blvd - CIU Local will be distributing "Healthy Workplace" materials and hand sanitizer. Gatineau March from Portage to Chaudière and back to Portage: The march leaves Phase IV, Portage at noon and will walk on Portage Rd. toward the Terrasses de la Chaudière. Chaudière/Eddy: All members from the different buildings of Terrasses and from 22 Eddy are invited to join in the hallway of 15 Eddy, around 12:10-12:15 p.m. From there, the group will march around the hallways of Terrasses. Portage: Back at Portage around 12:40 p.m., the group will march around the different phases of Portage until 1 p.m. March from Place de la Cité: Second, larger, walk for healthy workplaces.
