1 (English posting below) Offre d emploi Chargé(e) de projets, de communications et de réseautage (poste à temps partiel) Présentation de l organisme L Association québécoise des étudiants ayant des incapacités au postsecondaire (AQEIPS) est un organisme sans but lucratif fondé en 1991 par et pour des étudiants en situation de handicap. Sa mission première est de promouvoir l égalité des chances en éducation postsecondaire et de renforcer la collectivité quant à la défense du droit à l éducation supérieure, à l inclusion sociale, à la vie active et à la participation citoyenne, en offrant divers services. L'AQEIPS répond aux besoins des étudiants en situation de handicap au niveau postsecondaire en diffusant de l'information, en offrant un programme de bourses, en accompagnant les étudiants qui font face à des problématiques individuelles et en défendant collectivement des droits. L AQEIPS a son siège social à Montréal; elle représente les étudiants de tout le Québec et leur offre des services, et ce, dans les deux langues officielles. L AQEIPS s adresse aux étudiants au niveau postsecondaire (et élèves au niveau secondaire s y destinant) en situation de handicap due à une limitation fonctionnelle découlant d un handicap moteur, sensoriel, organique, ou d un trouble d apprentissage ou de santé mentale. Nous travaillons donc à outiller les étudiants et leur entourage à lever les obstacles causant la situation de handicap. Responsabilités : Organisation d évènements (Assemblée générale annuelle, réunions du conseil d administration, collectes de fonds); Assurer la continuité des projets en cours (Programme de bourses de l AQEIPS, Table de concertation sur l employabilité des ÉSH, etc.); Page 1 de 5

2 Toutes tâches administratives nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l association, incluant le traitement du courrier et des factures, la mise à jour des contacts, la prise d appels et la rédaction de documents tels que les demandes de financement; Réseautage et maintien des relations de l association avec les partenaires et membres; Représentation de l association aux activités reliées à la défense des droits et à la promotion de l égalité des chances en éducation (ex. : tables, colloques, concertations, présentations); Présentations lors d événements organisés par l AQEIPS; Mise à jour du contenu du site Web de l association et du guide «Les études postsecondaires, c est aussi pour toi!»; Gestion de la communauté Web (ex. : comptes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn); Exigences : Être admissible au programme Emplois d été Canada; Être étudiant au niveau postsecondaire (cégep ou université) dans un domaine pertinent au poste et/ou à la mission de l organisme; Expérience/intérêt en organisation d activités et l administration; Connaissances de la suite Microsoft Office, WordPress, blogues, médias sociaux; Expérience en rédaction Web, médias sociaux (un atout); Engagement dans le milieu communautaire ou associatif étudiant (un atout); Connaissance des lois, des mesures d égalisation des chances, des politiques et d autres dossiers reliés à l éducation postsecondaire au Québec (un atout); Français excellent, bon anglais (un atout). Le candidat idéal doit : Avoir un bon sens de l organisation, du travail d équipe et être proactif; Avoir un bon sens de la communication (entregent, discours public, écrit); Être autonome, avoir une bonne initiative, être capable de travailler seul et communiquer par courriel à distance avec les collègues; Être capable de travailler avec des échéanciers serrés. 3 Poste contractuel à temps plein pour l été 2014 dans nos locaux de Montréal, avec possibilité de renouvellement à temps partiel en septembre; Entrée en fonction à la mi-avril 2014 (possibilité d ajuster le nombre d heures si l étudiant n a pas terminé sa session); Salaire de 13 $/h; Bureau accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite; À compétences égales, la priorité sera accordée à une personne en situation de handicap. The primary mission of AQEIPS is to promote equality of opportunity in postsecondary education and to strengthen the community to defend the right to higher education, social inclusion, active living and citizen participation by offering various services. AQEIPS responds to the needs of students with disabilities at the postsecondary level by: disseminating information, accompanying these students during the resolution of individual problems and by collectively defending rights. AQEIPS has its head office in Montréal. However, it represents these students throughout Québec and provides services in both official languages. AQEIPS is intended for students at the postsecondary level who experience a disability situation due to a functional limitation resulting from impaired motor, sensory, organic disabilities, or a learning or mental health disorder. Duties: Organize events (annual general meeting, meetings of the Board of Directors, fundraising events); Ensure the continuity of the organization s current projects (AQEIPS bursary program, Issue Table on the Employability of Students with Disabilities, etc.); Carry out all the administrative duties that are necessary for the proper functioning of the association, including processing mail and bills, updating contacts, handling telephone calls, and writing documents such as funding applications; Network and maintain ties with AQEIPS members and partners; Represent the association during activities related to the defence of rights and the promotion of equal opportunities in education (e.g.: roundtables, conferences, meetings, presentations); Make presentations during events organized by the association; Update the AQEIPS website and the Postsecondary Studies Are also for You!, guide; Manage the association s Web community (e.g.: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn accounts); Requirements: Be eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program; Currently be enrolled in postsecondary studies (cégep or university) in a field that is relevant to the position and/or to the mission of the organization; Experience/interest in event organization and administrative duties; Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, WordPress, blogs, and social media; Experience in Web writing and writing for social media (an asset) Involvement in the community sector or in the student movement (an asset); Page 4 de 5
