Théries et recherche en gestin de prjet : perspectives rganisatinnelles Prgramme de PhD Prfesseur : Brian Hbbs, UQAM hbbs.brian@uqam.ca DESCRIPTION GÉNÉRALE : Ce curs prte sur la gestin de prjet rganisatinnelle, la gestin d une rganisatin qui réalise ses bjectifs stratégiques par la pursuite de prjet. Le curs vise à permettre à des persnnes ayant déjà une bnne cnnaissance du dmaine de la gestin de prjet de faire le pint sur les dévelppements récents dans le dmaine et d élabrer une prblématique de recherche. OBJECTIFS DU COURS : Glbalement, le curs vise à permettre à des persnnes ayant déjà une bnne cnnaissance du dmaine de la gestin de prjet de faire le pint sur ces dévelppements dnt plusieurs snt frt récents et de préparer leur recherche dans le dmaine. Plus spécifiquement, le curs vise à : Faire le pint sur la remise en gestin et renuveau des rientatins thériques et méthdlgiques dans le dmaine de la gestin de prjet Faire le pint sur l état actuel de la recherche en gestin de prjet Dévelpper la prblématique de recherche de l étudiante u l'étudiant. CLIENTÈLE VISÉE : Étudiant-e inscrit au prgramme de PdD en administratin Étudiant-e avec une bnne cnnaissance de base de la gestin de prjet Étudiant-e avec une cnnaissance minimale de la thérie des rganisatins Le prfesseur fera des rencntres avec les étudiants-es ptentiels avant curs pur vérifier les acquis. N.B. Il peut y avir des étudiants dans le prgramme de PhD qui s intéressent à la gestin de prjet, mais qui n nt pas d acquis dans ce dmaine. Ce curs n est pas adapté à leurs besins. DESCRIPTION DÉTAILLÉE : Le dmaine de la gestin de prjet a subi d imprtantes transfrmatins depuis les dix dernières années : Il y a eu une crissance imprtante du recurs à la gestin de prjet dans la pratique managériale. Il y a eu crissance : 1
de l utilisant de la gestin de prjet dans les rganisatins pur gérer des changements et des innvatins exigés par leur envirnnement à la fis plus dynamique et plus demandant. de la pénétratin de la gestin de prjet dans des secteurs ù elle a été traditinnellement absente, e.g. services financiers, prduits culturels. du nmbre de persnnes membres d assciatins prfessinnelles du nmbre de persnnes ayant des certificatins prfessinnelles dans le dmaine de la demande pur des persnnes qualifiées Au-delà de la crissance, il y a eu des transfrmatins de pratiques rganisatinnelles. Par exemple, il y a eu de l expérimentatin : de frmes rganisatinnelles plus flexibles centrées autur de la gestin de prjet. d unités spécialisées dans diverses fnctins de la gestin prjet, unités suvent nmmées «bureau de prjet.». de façns de gérer l interface entre l rganisatin de prductin et l rganisatin prjet. d rganisatins alternatives de prjet, e.g. prjets réalisés en partenariat public privé. Les frntières du dmaine se snt redéfinis. Traditinnellement, le dmaine de la gestin de prjet a été centré sur la réalisatin de prjet. Maintenant, le dmaine est centré sur la gestin de l rganisatin qui a recurs aux prjets pur réaliser ses bjectifs stratégiques. La prblématique a passé d une préccupatin d efficacité et de respect des budgets, échéanciers et spécificatins techniques à une prblématique d efficience. L alignement stratégique, la guvernance des prjets, la gestin des bénéfices, la gestin de prtefeuille et de prgramme de multiples prjets snt maintenant au centre des préccupatins. Les transfrmatins dans le dmaine d applicatin de la gestin de prjet et sn rôle dans l rganisatin nt été accmpagnées de changements imprtants dans les cmpétences nécessaires aux persnnes dans les rôles de gestinnaire de prjet et de prgramme et les rôles liés à la guvernance des prjets, prgrammes, prtefeuilles et de l rganisatin dans sn ensemble. Ces rôles ne snt plus essentiellement des rôles techniques. Le leadership et les perspectives stratégiques deviennent plus imprtants. De plus, plusieurs nuveaux rôles nt été créés, rôles liés à la gestin multiprjet et la gestin de prgramme. La quantité et la qualité des prductins scientifiques se snt accrues. La qualité des deux revues spécialisées dans le dmaine s est amélirée. Deux cllques de recherche spécialisés dans le dmaine snt rganisés systématiquement depuis l an 2000. Des papiers sur la gestin de prjet snt plus fréquents dans la littérature de la gestin en dehrs de la littérature spécialisée. Par exemple, la gestin de prjet est un des thématiques des cllques de l EURAM depuis plusieurs années et plusieurs papiers prtant sur la gestin de prjet sernt présentés au cllque AIMS en juin 2007. Les assisses épistémlgiques nt été remises en questin. La cmmunauté des chercheurs en gestin de prjet embrasse aujurd hui ses psitins épistémlgiques et des démarches méthdlgiques autres que le psitivisme qui a dminé le dmaine traditinnellement. Le changement de l rientatin éditriale du Prject Management Jurnal, Le prgramme de recherche britannique «Rethinking Prject Management» qui s est terminé en 2006 Un certain nmbre de publicatins qui énncent des rientatins épistémlgues et méthdlgiques différentes. La gestin de prjet n est plus un dmaine technique spécialisé en dehrs des autres dmaines du management. Le dmaine s est repsitinné plus prche du management en général et de la thérie des rganisatins en particulier. Les nuveaux bjets snt nmmés «Enterprise / Organisatinal Prject Management», «Prject-based u Prject-riented Organisatin», et «rganisatin tempraire.» ANIMATION DU COURS ET TRAVAUX : Chaque séance du curs présente un thème particulier pur lequel des lectures snt identifiées. Les participants divent en faire une lecture attentive au préalable et préparer une feuille d analyse des lectures qui résume les principaux apprts de chaque texte. Chaque participant dit prendre en change l animatin d une séance. Les intérêts particuliers du participant devaient guider le chix de la séance à animer. Dans la préparatin de la séance le participant devrait dcumenter de manière plus apprfndie le thème du curs. À la fin du curs, chaque participant dit rendre un travail de sessin qui dévelppe la prblématique de sa recherche.
