8 Course Description Human Resource Management 2 IM S1.SN/06 School School of Business ECTS Credits 3 The students will: Gain a basic knowledge of the primary HR Process Functions: HR Performance Measurement & Management, HR Compensation, HR Personnel Development, HR Separations Know selected methods and instruments of the above mentioned HR Process Functions and can apply the gained knowledge in case studies Know the importance of Diversity management and can discuss possible consequences for the management of employees Know selected areas of conflicts in the HRM field such as Mobbing, Addiction, sexual harassment Human Resource Management 1 (2nd semester) and Human Resource Management 2 (4th semester) both focus on key areas in the field of HRM (HRM Process Functions and HRM Support Functions). 13 Course Description ECTS Credits Semester Paper IM S2.SN/06 2 ECTS Students produce a methodological, business paper in groups of 4 on a business topic set by lecturers. The topic (the project) is set in the parallel Project Management course. In the Project Management course students gain and consolidate knowledge in a concrete project task. Students produce a business paper where this business project is described (topic/task, description status/basis, analysis/evaluation, interpretation, resultant recommendations).
